These words form the lifeline of a well-known Physician in Panvel. He is a prominent name associated with the launch of ‘Rotary Mega Medical Centre Project’. He has almost held all the important positions in Club and RID 3131 in his 26-year long Rotary career and has been elected as District Governor for RY 22-23,RID 3131 .

Rtn. Dr. Anil Parmar is the Director of renowned 30-bedded multi-specialty hospital, Nikam- Parmar Hospital and Intensive Care Unit. During his 27-year long efficacious career as a Physician And Intensivist, he has successfully treated more than 10,000 critically ill patients.

He is 2nd generation Rotarian and he followed the path laid down by his father, Late L.M. Parmar and joined Rotary in 1996. He is a member of 33-year-old Rotary Club of New Panvel, He was the Club President during the Rotary Centennial Year, 2005-06. He was the chairman of RCNPCT (Rotary Club of New Panvel Charitable Trust) from 2011 to 2013 and he conceptualized 6 crore worth Rotary Mega Medical Centre project.
He is Major Donor and Bequest Society Member.

In his Rotary Career at District, he has held almost all the assignment like AG, AG-Co-Ordinator, District Secretary District Director (TRF , Service Projects, Membership, Club Administration)and is Known as a passionate Fund raiser for Rotary.

His outstanding achievements are:

• Best Director Award for RY 17-18 & RY 18-19
• Best AG award in RY 2011 -12 & many other awards.
• He is the GSR of 2 clubs.
• RY 13-14: Received multiple awards at Rotary Institute by the hands of RI President. As TRF Director, RID 3131 collected 1.6 million USD which is the 2nd highest TRF Contribution of RID3131 till date.
• He also received Club Builder Award twice in the year 2013-14 and 2015-16.

Besides above, he has been the Convenor of many memorable District events like DOSTI, ELGAAR, Popti Fellowship, Niyojan and Jayostute-2 Prepets.
He is a Covid Warrior and has converted his setup into a Dedicated Covid Care Centre since last one year and helped many patients and Rotarians recover.
He has also been instrumental in Starting the Covid Free Vaccination Centre with Panvel Municipal Corporation and 3 more Rotary Vaccination Centres have been established Subsequently.

Rtn. Dr. Anil Parmar’s family is a complete circle of love, strength and service. All the members of his family are Paul Harris Fellowship members.
His wife, Dr. Hemlata Parmar, a homoeopath, is a Rotarian and PP of Innerwheel club of New Panvel.
His daughter Dr. Komal Mutha married to Ar.Nainesh Mutha and is practicing as a Dental Surgeon in Pune.
His Son, Dr. Varun has completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai and is planning to Pursue his Postgraduation.
