President Sneha then addressed the club with her welcome to them and apprised them of the plans for the coming year. July 1st being Doctors and CA day, President Sneha felicitated all the member doctors and CAs. Secretary Surekha announced the upcoming meetings lined up for the month of July. The meeting then began the special interview of Playback Singer Nihira Joshi. Nihira joined us from Germany where she now resides. Nihira gave us a small look into her life as a playback singer and also a small taste of her singing. The meeting ended with Rtn Neelkanth giving the vote of thanks. |

The speaker, Sanjay Kanakia, from a business family, came with rich experience in the MSME Sector. He illuminated his talk with focus on two fundamental resources which account for High Impact Leadership. 1. TIME, a resource which does not wait and is neither storable nor retrievable. How one uses TIME is a method of prioritizing & sequencing of activities. Requires a lot of meticulous planning and diligent execution. 2. EMERGY: A precious resource that needs nurturing for effective deployment. A. Physical energy, is a body function. B. Emotional energy, is a mood function. C. Mental energy, is an intellectual function. D. Spiritual energy, is a temperament related function. The power of positive thinking & never say die spirit are among the greatest attributes of a great Leader. Leaders are capable of success in every sphere of life, be it a profession, business, family matters or social work. To introduce the Board of Directors of Rotary Club of Chinchwad for the Rotary Year 2021: 22 with their portfolios 2. To present before the members the proposed Club Budget and the goals for Rotary Year 2021-22 3. To have an open forum for the suggestions of members The meeting was initiated by P E. Rtn Dr. Shilpagauri Prasad Ganpule Topics Discussed: Topic Discussion Opening remarks President Rtn. Prasad Shett (2020-21) called the meeting to order. He invited PE Rtn Dr. Shilpagauri for further proceedings. Presentation of Club Budget for 2021-22 by PE Rtn. Dr. Shilpagauri Prasad Ganpule PE Rtn Dr. Shilpagauri presented the the Board of Directors of Rotary Club of Chinchwad for the Rotary Year 2021: 22 with their portfolios. She presented before the Board members the Club Budget for 2021-22. Rtn Yatish Bhatt talked about the necessity to increase the fee. PP Rtn. Kishor Gujar suggested to continue with the same fee structure due to the pandemic time. The proposed budget was duly approved by the Board: The club fee Rs. 16,000/- and the Trust Share Rs. 4000/- will continue to be the same for 2021-22. President Rtn. Prasad Shett told the members about the phone call of President Rtn. Bhope for getting concession in fees. He informed the club that he specifically asked him to send a formal letter about the same. The club did not receive any letter from the Satellite Club till 8th June, 2021. The Satelite Club fee Rs. 8000/- and Trust Share Rs. 4000/- will continue to be the same for 2021-22. It was approved by the Board Members. PP. Rtn. Prasad Ganpule suggested to take 2 cheques (1. Rs. 16000/- Club Account 2. Trust Account Rs. 4000/- It was approved by the Board. PP Rtn. Kishor Gujar stated that the remaining amount in the Club Account can be utilized for the contribution against the EREY for the year 2020-21. The necessary action is to be taken prior to 20th June, 2021. PP Rtn. Kishor Gujar brought to the notice of the Board about the deficit in the income and expenditure. President Rtn. Prasad Shett stated that the balance amount in the Club and Trust Accounts in the year 2020-21 will suffice for the same. PP Rtn. Kishor Gujar asked about the dues of 2020-21 if any. President Rtn. Prasad Shett said that almost all dues except the full fee of 1 member and the part fee of 1 member are remaining. Presentation of Club Goals for 2021-22 by PE Rtn. Dr. Shilpagauri Prasad Ganpule PP. Rtn Ganesh Kudale suggested that the club should start its working on Global Grant Project and CSR funding. PP Rtn Prasad Ganpule proposed the Strategic Planning Committee as per RI rules and it was approved by the board. PP Rtn Ganesh Kudale recommended to initiate the process for 80G and get it soon for getting CSR funds. PP Rtn. Kishor Gujar informed the members that the process has been already initiated by President Rtn. Prasad Shett and Rtn Yatish Bhatt. He suggested them to settle the audit for 2020-21 and showed readiness for providing the assistance for the audit. PP Rtn. Kishor Gujar and PP Rtn Prasad Ganpule assured that he would help President Rtn. Prasad Shett in getting the work of 80 G done in due course of time. PE Rtn. Dr. Shilpagauri proposed to initiate the process for Rotary Community Corps for the projects under “Divyang Bliss” for the visually impaired. It was approved by the board. It was decided to revive the Rotaract Club. PP Rtn. Prasad Ganpule assured that he would contact the former President of Rotaract Club of Chinchwad Rotaractor Mayur Kalshetty and will do the needful. Rtn. Parag Joshi put forth the need to establish a contact with Rtn Neelam Mehta in order to keep the interact club in working condition. PE Rtn. Dr. Shilpagauri assured to call her personally. PP Rtn Ganesh Kudale suggested to have the Happy Village project in synergy with other clubs. PP Rtn. Prasad Ganpule pointed out the need for raising funds for the celebration of 25th year of RC Chinchwad. All the members showed their readiness to do the same.
