| Minutes of Meeting | 1. Meeting called to order by President and followed by National Anthem. 2. DGE Dr Anil Parmar presented overview of the Inaugural Function at the hands of RIP Shekhar Mehta and also discussed the lacunas in the arrangements. He categorically expressed displeasure over poor attendance of Club Membars which lead to about 20 vacant seats in the Hall. He requested all present members to also narrate their experiences to improve the arrangements in future programs and accordingly the present members expressed themselves one by one. a. President Dr Mina Biswal : There were no Directions for guiding the Guests to the venue where Tea/Snacks were served. Hence many Guests went straight to Fourth Floor b. Rtn Sanjay Dahedar : Remarked that the program was excellent and expressed displeasure over poor Member attendance. c. Rtn Praful Dhargalkar : Emphasized that given Responsibilities in such events should be seriously understood as well as undertaken. Also expressed concern over crowding in the Lobby. d. Rtn Rajeevan : Suggested that the Club should have uniform Dress Code for Male & Female Members and suggested Blazers which should be procured from a single source to be identical. e. Rtn Purushottam Agrawal : Expressed concern over not inviting the Vaccination Incharge for the Function. Also mentioned that it was not correct to welcome Important Guests like Mr Mhatre on their Seat and handing over the Bouquet there. He also expressed that Tree plantation by the Hands of the Dignitaries could have been easily done as they spent quite some time in the Porch. He further added that after each program, few Members must stay back to ensure proper wind-up of the event as few Air-conditioners were kept on overnight by the winding team. f. Rtn Dr Anil Parmar : We should make sure that the Bouquets and gifts given to the Dignitaries should be carried by someone to their Cars when they leave. Similarly if a scissor is given for Ribbon cutting, the same should be respectfully received back by the person who hands it over. g. Rtn Sadhana Dhargalkar : Expressed displeasure that Lady Members were invited only for the last meeting about the event management and given the responsibilities. She suggested Lady Members’ involvement right from the beginning. 3. The meeting was adjourned followed by Fellowship, sponsored by President Dr. Mina Biswal. |
