Minutes of Meeting Pre-fellowship started at 6 PM on Zoom where many members joined and interacted with each other on various topics. Post pre-Fellowship, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay and all members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. President Amitabha updated all members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project status. 1,62,118 vaccines have been administered as on 4th Sep. President announced the receipt of donation of Rs. 9,84,680 from Eaton and Rs. 3,40,000 from Alkyl for the Covid 19 mobile vaccination project.’ As a salute to spirit of giving, Rtn Shashi Saxena was recognised for the donation from Tobaccowala Foundation. Rs 1.5 lakhs was received for Moledina School project and Rs 3.5 lakhs for Eye Care Project. For the Jagruti and Happy School Global Grant Project total RCPC Contribution paid to The Rotary Foundation India is INR 5.90 Lakhs (USD 7,552). Contribution by members is as below: 1. Rtn. PP Madhu Rathi - Rs 2 lakhs 2. Rtn. PP Jinendra Munot - Rs 85,500 3. Rtn. PP Krishan Jhunjhunwala - Rs 28,500 4. Rtn. Cawas Pundole - Rs 28,500 5. Rtn. Dr Shashi Saxena - Rs 19,000 6. Rtn. Dr Ashok Bhave - Rs 19,000 Rtn. Oni Kakajiwala and R’Ann Nafisa Kakajiala handed over 1,200 N95 masks to Dr. Bageshri Gogate, Professor and Head Dep. Of Pathology, Director Laboratories of Smt. Kashibai Navala Medical College and General Hospital. Pune. This is a Trust Hospital treating many patients’ pro-bono. Also, 3,000 N95 face masks were handed over to Rtn. Jignesh Patel for Vaccine On Wheels – Covid 19 Mobile Vaccination Project. On 29th August, 'Sunday Breakfast Meeting' of 'RCPC Assimilation and Member Relations Committee' was organised along with a few invited members who had joined RCPC from 2017 onwards. Rtn Tony Sachdev and R'Ann Simran Kaur Sachdev (Gini) hosted the Breakfast Meeting in their wonderful '11 East Street Cafe '. Rtn. Brig. PKM Raja, chairman and other members of assimilation committee along with Rtn. President Amitabha Mukhopadhyay, Rtn. Raman Nanda, Director Membership and Rtn Sunil Asher, Hon. Treasurer RCPC, were present. Rtn. PP Krishan Jhunjhunwala, a Member of the Committee enlightened the audience with information about the beginnings of Rotary as well as his personal experiences of Rotary life, which was very informative. In the September 2021 Rotary Issue, the list of Arch Klumph Society members from South Asia region for RY 2020-21 is published which includes names of our Club's PP Ajay Dubey and Rooma Dubey. With their generosity and that of all the other donors of RCPC, we have been recognised as No. 1 giving Club of South Asia with a total contribution of $ 540,501.36. The members congratulated AG Rtn. PP Ravi Kapoor for being recognised for his contribution at the District Membership Seminar. We wished happy birthday to R'Ann Seema Handa, R'Ann Radhika Malhotra, R'Ann Simran Sachdev, Rtn. Amita Munot, Rtn. Vimal Saboo, and Rtn. Pravin Nadkarni. This week, Guest Speaker Mr. Akshay Mehrotra- founder and CEO of Early Salary spoke “Fintech revolutions in India” In the session, Akshay spoke about how fintech has revolutionised banking. It has helped to reimagine the way banking service was delivered to the end customers. Minutes of Meeting Minutes of the BOD Meeting Rotary club of Panvel Industrial Town 3rd BOD Meeting was held at Hotel Amantran, on 04 sep 2021 at 8.00 p.m. 1). The Following members were present. President –Rtn. Gurdev Sing Kohli, Secretary – Vinod L Gurme, Rtn. Arvind Sawalekar, , Rtn. Nilesh Pote, Rtn. Charudatta Bhagat, Rtn. , Rtn. Harmesh Tanna, Rtn Madhusudan Malpani(Treasurer), Rtn. Jai Bhandarkar, Rtn. Rtn Atul Bhagat, Rtn Latif Following Points were discussed as per Agenda. 1) Minutes of last BOD meeting: - Read and Confirmed. 2) Discuss about joint meeting with trust members :Mail was sent to trust chairman on 20th august from club secretary and on 24 th august trust secretary informed that board say will be placed in trust meeting and informed to board. Matter was again discussed and decided that president will talk to trust chairman and fix the meeting. 3) Updation of new members: All the new members proposed by respective Rotarians will be inducted once pay the dues. 4) Incoming New Projects: Teachers day celebration 2) lecture on cyber security and awareness 3) essay writing completion 4) outside speaker on literacy related topic. 5) Resolution passed by all the members that the name of current president, secretary and treasurer are authorized and responsible for bank account and other names are deleted, treasurer will submit this to The union Bank. 6) IPP Rtn Harmesh Tanna: objected on removal BOD member Rtn Bhavesh 7) President Gurdev singh kohli clarified that he was not performing the responsibility given to him hence removed 8) Meeting ended with vote of thanks by club secretary and dinner hosted by Rtn Malpani and Rtn Jay Bhandarkar.
