| Minutes of Meeting | Dear Friends, We thanks the programme / cultural committe for arranging todays Friendship and fellowship meeting at Spice Garden in such a large number. We welcome Rtn Tushar Acharya and Rtn Baliram Mutgekar were inducted in our RCPSR family at the hands of DGND Santosh ji Marathe. Couple of prospective members also attended the meeting. | Meeting Agenda | We will be meeting for a unique event Walk and Jog on this Sunday 26th February 2023 at 6.00 am in Pune University. This very special Event is organized for Sr. citizens by our club along with Simple Steps. The flow of an event Walk and JoG would be like this. Assembly - 6.15 hrs to 6.30 hrs 6.45 hrs we will have Zumba warm up with old songs. 07.00 hrs we will have our first flag off for 10 kms followed by 05 kms after about 5 minutes and then 3 kms where we will have maximum participants. We have about 03 water stations on the route and one at the venue. At the water station besides water we will provide bananas. 8.20 hrs to 08.30 hrs we will start with prize distribution ceremony for various categories. We have kept 80 plus as a last category where all the participants will be announced as winners and Trophy will be presented to them. Rest all the categories will have 1-2-3 numbers. Post ceremony Aadar Poonawala team will clear the ground. Every finisher is entitled for a medal and refreshment. Buddy runner is entitled for refreshment only. Friends See you all in large nos on 26th morning 6.00 am at Pune University. Wishing all the very best to the Participants…. |

| Minutes of Meeting | RID3131 DG Dr Anil Parmar and First Lady Dr Hema Parmar with RC Pune Pride President Ujwal Kele (extreme right) and (from left), PP Subodh Malpani and DGND Santosh Marathe Sunday, 26th March 2023, 6:00 am All roads led to the salubrious Pune University campus with senior citizens, Rotarians and organisers making their way for the second edition of Ageless Wonders, a Walk & Jog event organised by RC Pune Pride in partnership with Simple Steps, an organisation founded by Guinness World Record holder Ashish Kasodekar who is committed to promoting the joy of running across all age groups. The morning kicked off with warm up and Zumba to the tune of old Hindi movie songs. There were groups from Laughter Clubs who added to the lively atmosphere and by 7:30 am all the participants were charged up and ready to go. There were over 500 registrations by senior citizens, some of them accompanied by companions The first batch of participants, for the 10 km run was flagged off by District First Lady Dr Hema Parmar along with Ultraman Dashrath Jadhav. This was followed by the next batch doing 5 km and finally, the 3 km group. All Finishers were presented with a medal and the joy and satisfaction on their faces was something special. Clearly, we had achieved the prime objective of the event - making senior citizens come out and realise that “Yes, we can also do it !!” The pictures tell their own story… |
