| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of the BOD meeting held on 7/12/24 at 10:00 a.m. in Damle hall. Attendees: Pres Amita Nene, Amit Apte, Madhavi C, Anjali, Padma, Rajas Guest member : Manjusha 1. President opened the meeting and congratulated the following - Nomination Committee and the New BOD - Rajas for 5th Dec AGM -Foundation Team for USD 10,000 - Accolades to PP Sneha for special recognition. - Treasurer for collecting all the dues. - Admin Team for the picnic - Phalode closing visit an appreciation by the club. - Adult literacy and the RCC. - Anna Uday Subhedar for 6th Bulletin. She had updates on the following -End Polio co host - Brig Gokhale contributed USD 350. -AGM Sunshine box amount is Rs.10,054/- -4 and 5th January, club is co host of District Sahitya Sammelan 15000/- to be given. 40 passes to be sold to members. RC Heritage is the host club. - Manovedh concludes this month - Rathi school to be followed up with regular rotary activities. Also to check with Principal Pawar. - Entrepreneurship and personality development at Renuka Swaroop is going well with convener Vidya Mule. Sarika does not want technical sessions. Next session in Feb. - 12 chairs donated to Rashin - Borewell recharge 3000 pounds from UK has been received through FCRA of other club. - IPP Surekha Deshpande has resigned from the club as well as the Trust. Her resignation has been accepted by the Trust. It has been proposed that PP Mukund Chiplunkar will be the new trustee. A change request will need to be filed regarding the same. - BOD accepted the resignation of PP Surekha Deshpande as of 7th December 2024. 2. Treasurer Rtn. Amit proposed to accept the minutes of the last BOD held on 9th November. Madhavi C seconded it. 3. Secretary Rajas gave updates regarding the AGM. PP Padma suggested -secretary SOP be developed. - Separate committee formed for by laws changes for the next AGM. 4. Treasurer Rtn. Amit gave the following updates. - Income of the club and trust, the budgeted amount has been collected. Of the budget 40% has been spent. From the carry over amount of 23-24, 50% has been spent. Rs. 85,000/- remaining for the club. It was suggested that 2 Min Jalwa could be done. - Picnic Rs.28000/- extra spent which has been approved earlier. - To keep aside ER/EY amount. - for the TRust many bills of the project done are yet to be received. - FCRA to be discussed further in following BOD after looking at the compliance. 5. Service Projects updates were given by PP Anjali - Arogyabhan: A permanent display has been suggested by the school. There are also suggestions for more projects. - Book donations - 2 schools Renuka Swaroop and Agashe - Rashin - Hostel bldg. to look for support for m local club, ngos and Rotary Mitra. - Project Durga suggestion to expand to Renuka Swaroop. - Phalode has RCC - Rotary community corps. In upcoming projects - Vocational Awards - Awardees have been identified. - Vocational Excellence Award- on 1st March to be presented to Mr. Prasad Wanarase. Mr. Satish Alekar to be Chief guest, Shubhangi Damle to be guest of honor. - HIV Vivah Melava, Swayamsiddha, Jaladoot and Cherry Blossom as per schedule. - ACP at Renuka Swaroop PP Padma convener. - Happy school at Kharadi and Khulewadi. - Ujjwal Anganwadi - Global grant to adopt 1 anganwadi. - Akshar Sarita - Requirement of 1 cupboard, No of books. Schools to be identified. Check the proposal and check the funding available. 6. In other suggestion PP Padma suggested to check if RI and District log ins have been done. 7. The BOD concluded after vote of thanks by Secretary Rajas. |

Members expressed their condolences to the berieved family of Late Rtn Ram Gopal Rao.His wife Esther and son Rishan had joined the meeting. Members will deeply miss such a fine Gentleman and a smily dedicated Rotarian. |

| Meeting Agenda | As part of playing 11, implemented Cherry Blossom Project at Prajnanabodhini School, Shirgaon. Team of 8 people from Family Planning Association of India was present from the start of time till 3 pm. 300 students from grade 5th to 9th were tested for hemoglobin and for the students were hemoglobin test results were less than 10, the team provided the tablets as well as explained how to increate the hemoglobin level by eating green vegetables, khajur etc. President Rtn Vivek, Membership Director Rtn Sushil Ji, Treasurer Rtn Dinesh Ji, Ann Shakambhari Ji, IPP Rtn Manoj and Ann Shital etc. were present during the inauguration of the project. |

| Minutes of Meeting | Our 20th weekly meeting of the Rotary year focused on the month's theme of 'Health and disease prevention'. We commenced the evening with President Brig. PKM Raja calling the meeting to order. The President warmly welcomed our guest speaker, Mr. Aakash Ramchandani, along with visiting Rotarians and guests. The President provided an update on the club’s ongoing projects, highlighting the significant strides made this year: Green PC Project: This initiative continues to empower schools across Junnar and Manchar by providing sustainable and cost-effective digital learning solutions. Teachers and students alike have benefited greatly from this project. Eye Check-Up Camps: A series of camps in underserved areas has positively impacted thousands, with glasses and referrals for advanced care provided as needed. Military Hospital Project: Efforts to support medical infrastructure have been bolstered by generous contributions, with a focus on serving our armed forces personnel. Upcoming Initiatives: The President shared plans to support the Happy Village initiative and digital literacy programs, ensuring sustained impact across various community projects. We wished happy birthday to: Rtn. Bharat Shah, Rtn. PP Suhas Merchant, Rtn. Dr. Abhimanyu Pingale, R’Ann Aarti Krishna Kumar, R’Ann Rohini Jain and R’Ann Uma Kejriwal. Wedding anniversary greetings were shared for Rtn. PP Krishan & R’Ann Ruby Jhunjhunwala, Rtn. PP Suhas & R’Ann Kalpana Merchant, Rtn. Vipen & R’Ann Radhika Malhotra, Rtn. PE Lekha & Col. V Nandakumar Nair, Rtn. Dr. Subhash & R’Ann Kiran Pallod, Rtn. Shashi Raj & R’Ann Neena Talwar, Rtn. Bharat & R’Ann Nilima Shah, Rtn. PP Dr. Madhavi & Dr. Suhas Vaze, Rtn. Our guest speaker, Mr. Aakash Ramchandani from SutraLETICSS, took the audience through the essentials of a healthy lifestyle and introduced innovative practices like Ayurvedic principles and red-light therapy. His talk underscored how these techniques could enhance wellness and support anti-aging. Members appreciated the scientific depth and actionable takeaways from his session, which was both engaging and informative. Our next meeting would be on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Poona Club Conference Hall 1. Dr. Rishikesh Wadke from Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Kharghar, will share his expertise on: ‘Healthcare for Congenital Heart Disease & Pregnant Mothers: The Sanjeevani Model.’ This session will delve into innovative healthcare approaches, making it a must-attend event for all. Let’s keep the momentum going as we continue to serve and inspire! |
