To promote saving water from poluting due to immersion of Ganpati idols along with Nirmalya. we have arranged collection center so at 4 immersion spots in Panvel area. spots are 1 Kamothe 2 Kalamboli, 3 Khanda colony & 4 Adai New Panvel. at every point at least one truck nirmalya was collected and segregated for composting and handed over flowers to Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan for composting & Other remains were handed over to Panvel Municipal Corporation for further disposal. Total 8 Rotary Clubs & 5 Rotaract clubs were participated. and 2/3 clubs taken responsibility of one spot. Our club was responsible for immersion site at Kamothe lake along with RC Kamothe.
