This medical service project is not a normal half or full day project but full 15 days service alongside waree from Pune to Pandharpur. It is like “Seva ka Mahayadnya” continued since a decade We go well equipped to handle most emergencies but in case of severe cases patients are transferred to nearest hospitals . Many doctors from Pune and Mumbai join voluntarily in this noble cause keeping aside their practice. Every second day the set up has to be moved to next stop before warkaries reach walking Our team with two ambulances with support staff and Doctors along with all medicines and consumables travel with waree and camp at the place of resting. The complaints vary from normal fatigue, leg injuries, accidents minor or major, scorpion or snake bites, fractures, asthma, dehydrations, dysentery , fMany retired nurses and paramedics join for rendering their services to waarkaries. Our club memebers who are not from medical background join to give services like providing massage, dressing wounds, and providing logistics . Working for 15 days outdoor on open in hot dusty rural environment with bare minimum facilities and facing crowd of lakhs of people and attending on an average over 1000+ warkaries everyday from morning till night is a very demanding task , but the satisfaction of SERVICE takes away all the exhaustion .
