The said old age home had severe leakage problem and the beneficiaries were troubled during rainy season. Also due to growth of grass and weeds on the terrace was affecting the health of beneficiaries. We undertook and conducted chemical water proofing by reconstructing the surface area making it free from cracks, joints and porosity and water proofed it by use of polymer modified cementatious coatings and fiber glass membrane to instill strength and to create a waterproof barrier which will sustain the heavy showers in their hill region.
