Nearby Bhor on the banks of river Gunjavani there is Katkari vasti (ST community) . The Katkari community is very poor and earns its living by fishing. On the occasion of Deepawali, Club members arranged deepavali pharal,sweets and clothes to be distributed among the needy Katkari families.
