Club has arranged distribution of books and other educational material and toys distribution to the “Aanganwadi children” in remote area of ‘Durukdara’ located in the area of Gherasinhagad, Tal. Haveli, Dist. Pune. Our club has established Aanganwadi in remote area of Durukdara and club is also arranging honorarium to the Aanganwadi teachers and Assistant and hygienic snacks to the Aanganwadi children. In the said project the parents of students expressed that now their children can attend 1st standard along with ‘Akshar Olakh and Aanklekhan’. Before starting of the Aanganwadi by Rotary the students below 1st standard did not have availability of Aanganwadi hence they had no choice to wait till attaining the age for admission to 1st standard in nearby school in the villages in the vicinity of Gherasinhagad.
