1000 paper bags were distributed to Warkaris who are villagers walking on annual pilgrimage to Pandharpur. The objective is to ensure that they do not carry plastic bags thereby saving the environment. The paper bags were made by women from the economically deprived section of the society. Our project helped these women earn an extra livelihood.
