DGN Nitin Dhamale

District Governor 2026-2027

Rtn Nitin Dhamale earned his B.E. in Production Engineering and M.E. in Metallurgy Engineering from the University of Pune. He manages the family business, M/s Cee Dee Vacuum Equipment Pvt. Ltd, which specialises in manufacturing vacuum systems.
Rtn Nitin began his Rotary career in 2002–2003 with the Rotary Club of Pimpri. He successfully raised Rotary's profile among the general public by executing large-scale projects, such as distributing school bags to over 3,000 students, providing more than 700 benches, installing 127 water tanks with filters, and leading a literacy project involving 162 ZP schools. He also organised a daily waste collection awareness campaign in PCMC, involving 3,500 students and a local NGO. Additionally, he carried out two Global Grants with H V Desai, each worth ₹1.75 crores, and one CSR initiative with Cello Pens, costing ₹54 lakh, to build 24 restrooms in ZP schools.
Over his 18-year Rotary career, Rtn Nitin served as club president in the 2018–2019 academic year and was the convener for many district events, such as literacy drives, Blacktie, AGAC, Foundation, Membership, and PETS. His dedication to service resulted in the completion of 128 service projects in a single calendar year, a record recognised by the district for the maximum number of projects completed by a club president in a Rotary calendar year.
Under his leadership, the Pimpri club was ranked as the number one club in the district and Rtn Nitin was honored as the Best Club President of the Year for 2018. He was also recognised as the Best performing Assistant Governor for 2021–2022 and the Best TRF Director for 2022–2023. Rtn Nitin set new records in the Foundation by surpassing previous records in TRF, including achieving the highest number of PHS, PHF, and AKS individual donors, raising $7.32K for the Annual Program Fund, and a total TRF contribution of $2.6 million. He was awarded by Rotary International for Avenues of Server in the year 2022-23. Considering his devotion to Rotary, District 3131 Rotarian accepted him as an unopposed District Governor candidate for 2026–2027.
On a personal note, Rtn Nitin is supported by his wife, Ann Dr Neelam, a gold medalist paediatrician from a close-knit joint family. They are both Major Donors-II and are blessed with a son, Aryan, a PHF.
