Rotary Wisdom organized an insightful session for parents at Bharti Vidya Bhavan School in Model Colony, Pune. HOD Counselling Dept. Rtn. Rajani Swamy arranged this program specifically for parents of higher secondary standard students. Rtn. Dinesh Subhedar delivered an informative address on the topic of "Cyber Crime Awareness," covering various essential aspects; He elucidated the concept of cybercrime in the context of laws and legislations; trends of cybercrime that are relevant for school students; provided valuable cyber hygiene tips for "Digital Parenting Tools."; real-life case studies were shared with parents, shedding light on prevailing modus operandi. The session was highly interactive, and parents actively participated by posing several relevant questions. Following the session, a meeting was held with the Honourable Principal Mrs. Ratna Saha and Chairman Mr. Nandkumar Kakirde. During the discussion, it was suggested that Rotary Club of Pune Wisdom could extend its efforts by conducting similar sessions for students and create Cyber champions within the school.
