Report on Zonal 2-Day RYLA Event Event Overview The Zonal RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) was held on September 28-29, 2024, at the Deccan Institute of Commerce's English Medium School, Nigd and was hosted and organised by the Lead Club Rotary Club of Chinchwad-Pune under the auspices of Zone 2, Rotary District 3131, this event brought together youth from various clubs, including Rotary Club of Pimpri, Rotary Club of Pimpri Elite, and Rotary Club of Pradhikaran, alongside students from Ishvarpuram, Pune. Rotary Club of Pimpri Elite, and Rotary Club of Pradhikaran were the Co-Hosts of the RYLA. Organizing Team The event was led by Rtn. Balveer Chawla, Director of Youth Services, along with Rtn. Sanjay Karwa, RYLA Chair, and other key members: President Rtn. Harsha Joshi, President Rtn Mahadev Shendkar, President Rtn Ajay Lanke, AG Rtn Ravindra Bhave, Secretary Rtn. Parag Joshi, and Rtn. Pankaj Darure, Rtn Vinayak Jog, Rtn Santosh Patil, Rtn Anil Bhandurge, Rtn Prachee Javdekar, Rtn Aditi Joshi. Rtn Harsha Joshi served as the Coordinator of the RYLA. No. of Beneficiaries: !39 Inaugural Function The inaugural session featured esteemed guests including Rtn. Sanjay Karwa, Rtn. Prasad Ganpule, Assistant Governor Rtn. Ravindra Bhave, and Presidents of various participating clubs. Their addresses emphasized the importance of youth leadership and personal development. Event Highlights Day 1: The event commenced with registration, followed by the National Anthem and an inspiring address from the Club President. Rtn. Prasad Ganpule provided valuable insights into Rotary and its initiatives. Participants engaged in a lecture on financial planning led by C.A. Abhijeet Sagde, followed by a dynamic personality development workshop conducted by Pranav and Surabhi Joshi. Gopati Prabhuji's session on holistic success focused on the integration of mind, body, and spirit, fostering a well-rounded approach to personal growth. The day concluded with an informative session on social media by Omkar Jadhav. Day 2: The second day began with a meditation session led by Dhanashri Patil, followed by self-defense training from Omkar Shere. Rtn. Prof. Shilpagauri Ganpule guided participants in effective goal-setting strategies. Rtn Prasad Ganpule enlighted the students with the topic water conservation and rainwater harvesting. DGN Rtn Nitin Dhamale motivated the students with his inspirational talk. Ujwal Bhutada's workshop covered essential skills in self-discipline, communication, and entrepreneurship, equipping attendees with practical tools for success. The event wrapped up with a workshop on managing emotions by Niraja Ingle. Closing Ceremony The event concluded with a closing ceremony featuring the distribution of certificates. President Rtn. Harsha Joshi, Rtn Mahadev Shendkar, AG Rtn Ravindra Bhave and Secretary Rtn. Parag Joshi presided over the ceremony, with Rtr. Vaidehi Joshi serving as the compere. Participants left with renewed motivation and valuable skills to apply in their personal and professional lives.
