Green Gold Project was initiated under Vocation Avenue and 7 R.I. District 3141, 3142, 3131, 3030, 3060, 3170, 3132. 9 Clubs participated in the project. R.C. Bombay Queen City, President Ajay Agrawal R.C. Thane Aces president Dr.Sunita Jain, R.C. Thane Hiranandani Legends President Nilesh Dhaihifule, R.C. Satellite City Navi Mumbai President Sanket Goyal, R.C. Pune Parvati President Dr. Vrushali Khire, R.C. Nagpur Downtown President Dr.Pratiksha Mayee, R.C. Aurangabad West President Sagar Kharade, R.C. Belgaum Central President Amit Patil , R.C. Dhule President Rahul Kulkarni, R.C. Baramati President Arvind Gargate & were involved in sponsoring this project 100 farmers from all over Maharashtra participated in this vocational training. This Multi District, Multi Club vocational training for farmers from Maharashtra was co-ordinated by Rtn. RalphyJirhad, Rtn. Rohit Agrawal, Rtn. Naresh Shah, Rtn. Dr. Hanmantrao Patil, Rtn. Hemant Landge, Rtn. Dr. Renuka Salunke and Rtn. V.R. Sai Ganesh was the Chief Co-ordianator. This was a residential training program for 2 days where they learnt Residue free farming, Conservation, Poultry, Goat Farming, Grafting, Agro Industry along with field visits at KVK Baramanti. Zydex Agro was instrumental in training the farmers. Along with Rotary this event was sponsored by Zydex, Swastik Builders & Finolex Plasso. This project was conceptualised by Av. Chairman Rtn. Manisha Kondaskar from RI Dist 3142 & convened by D.S. Dr. Sanjeev Jain R.I. Dist 3142, Co-convenors were President Dr. Sunita Jain & President Nilesh Dhahifule, PDG Rashmi Kulkarni was the Advisor of this project from RID 3131. Dist. Governors played a prominent role in this project by discussing all the technicality of the project of coming together & creating a revolution in the world of Rotary in the part of Maharashtra.
