Our Mahadan project, one of the signature project of our club. Its a forthnight. It was like a beautiful festival! The convenor of project was Dist.Vocational director Madhumita Barve. The project was conducted in 27 Housing societies on the occasion of “Pitru Pandharwada” . Society leaders and 90% Rotarians and spouses of our club involved with full dedication. Rotractors from our sponsored club are also participated. The citizens from these societies donated reusable good clothes, food grains, money and online donations as well. Overwhelming response received resulted, 4920 kg food grains of cost around 200000/- 586 bags of cloths of cost around 586000/- 725000/- Cash This collected food grains and cloths donated to needy social organizations. 1. Dhroov Foundation Received donated funds are used for Pediatric department of Sasoon Hospital through donated sophisticated machinaries like surgery equipments & accessories along with five years CMC. Remaining donation part are used for the project of “Artificial Limbs” to needy beneficiaries . it’s a joint project with Bharat Vikas Parishad a renowned NGO in India.
