Donation of books to school libraries of 5 rural and 1 urban low income group schools. In total 500 books were donated. Rotary Club of Pune Metro completed a Book donation drive at 5 schools. Books for the age group of 7-15 years were donated to libraries of these schools. In total over 500 books were donated. During the drives at all 5 schools, Rtn Amita Nene, President, rotary club of Pune Metro emphasized on the importance of regular reading by children and its impact on their overall personality development and their enhancement of general knowledge. Books donated included children's books in Marathi and English - science, fiction, novels, general knowledge books, biographies, encyclopedia, etc. Members who were part of the Book Donation Drive - president Amita Nene, project director Anjali Sahasrabuddhe, convener Altaf chikodi, Anna Sachin Nene, Rtn prerana Joshi, Anna kedar Joshi, Rtn shobhana paranjape, secretary Rtn rajas phadke and 4 more members
