RC Pune Camp has organized social media training program for disabled Indian Defence Personnel from Feb 01, 2025 to Feb 28, 2025. This is the 7th batch and till date they have trained 85 specially-abled soldiers. Our club participated in this project as a Synergy Partner. This is our 2nd synergy project in this RY with RC Pune Camp. Within 2 to 3 days, with the help of our Rotarians and Non-Rotarians friends, we were able to collect Rs 25500/-, which was transferred to RC Pune Camp Trust via NEFT from our club’s Rotary Account. Non-Rotarian Nareshbhai Shah (Mumbai) -Rs 1000/- (Cheque payment - direct to RC Pune Camp Trust Account) So Total Rs 24500/- sent to RC Pune Camp Trust from our Rotary Account via NEFT (And Rs 1000/- of Nareshbhai Shah were directed deposited in to Pune Camp Trust Account. So total contribution from our club if Rs 25500/- Special recognition and appreciation were given during the month-long training, especially on the day of the Certificate distribution ceremony at the prestigious KARGIL HALL, in the presence of senior Army personnel on 28th Feb 2025. From out club, Rtn Vivek, Rtn Dixit Ji and Ann Shakambhari Ji, Rtn Sagar attended the program at Kargil Hall, QMTI, Khadki. We were able to meet great personalities like (Dr Praful Pawar, Director, PUMBA, Pune University), Dr Col Vasant Ballewar (Dean and Dy CEO,QMTI). Our DGE Rtn Santosh Marathe also present for the program. During lunch time, we were able to meet the specially abled Army Jawans (Real Heros) who have successfully completed 1 months course.
