In view of the mail from President Elect Dr Vinay Shelar that he will not be able to continue as the President for 2022-23 due to unavoidable personal reasons, with due prior consent, DGE Anil Parmar announced that Rtn. Pradeep Davkar will be the President for the year 2022-23. DGE Anil Parmar greeted Rtn Pradeep Davkar with Flowers and wished for wholehearted participation. 3. The oncoming District Event of celebration of Kojagiri Festival in synergy with RC Panvel on 16th October, 2021 was discussed. There will be a Musical Program by a professional Orchestra. The Lady Rotarians will be performing a Dance in this function. 4. President Dr Mina Biswal briefed about the Blood Donation Camp organized at Hiranandani Complex, Khopoli on 24th September. 5. The Swasth Free Health Check-up Camp organized by Rtn Purushottam Agrawal along with RCNP on 26.10.2021 between 10.00 am to 2.00 pm was briefed. 6. The execution of the Defeat Diabetes Campaign was discussed. Rotary Club has planned to conduct 1 Million Random Sugar tests for Early Detection of Diabetes. RCNP has decided to hold these detection camps at four locations… a. Orion Mall b. Abhyudaya Bank, New Panvel c. Panvel Industrial Estate d. Apcotex Industries, Taloja 7. Rtn. Rajeevan briefed about the District Youth Seminar and confirmed his participation with 2-3 Rotaractors. It was agreed that RCNP will sponsor Seminar Registration Fees for 2 Rotaractors. 8. Rtn Rajeevan informed that the Rotaract Club Charter for the Club (CKT College) has still not been received. 9. The excerpts of the Web Meeting about the settlement of Transgenders, a Joint program by Fifteen Clubs` was briefed. 10. The E-Waste disposal as a combined project by all clubs on 30th & 31st October was discussed. |

| Minutes of Meeting | 1. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss & decide substitute President for the year 2022-23 as PE Dr Vinay Shelar confirmed by email that he will not be able to accept the Presidency due to unavoidable personal reasons. 2. Having obtained prior consent, Rtn Pushparaj Mendon proposed the name of Rtn Pradeep Davkar as the President for 2022-23 and Rtn Prafulla Dhargalkar seconded. 3. The name of Rtn Pradeep Davkar was unanimously accepted as President elect for the year 2022-23. DGE Dr Anil Parmar advised President Dr Mina Biswal to announce this in the Club Weekly meeting scheduled immediately after the BOD. 4. The proposed Kojagiri Celebration Event was discussed. As the District has sanctioned fund of Rs. 20,000 for this event, it was agreed that this event will be conducted as District Event in synergy with RC Panvel. The venue for the event will be Rotary Community Hall and the Hall rent as well as the Dinner expenses shall be shared between the two clubs. 5. Rtn Dr Bhalekar informed that all required documentation for the Global Grant has been completed but the authorization by the Primary Contact is pending for unknown reasons. The primary contact is not responding to mails. 6. All BOD members expressed displeasure about the Catering Services provided by Anil Caterers and it was decided to explore alternatives. 7. The implementation of Nationwide “Defeat Diabetes’ program was discussed in detail. Rtn Rajeevan agreed to rope in Rotaract Team for this event. |
