| Minutes of Meeting | Charter Presentation and Installation of Rotary Club Scon Pro Sponsored by Rotary Club Chinchwad-Pune: the First Corporate Club in Rotary International District 3131 and Second in India The Charter presentation and Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club Scon Pro sponsored by Rotary Club Chinchwad-Pune were held recently in PYC Club, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. Rotarian Ramchandra Maidev, the newly appointed President was handed over the Charter of the new Club at the hands of District Governor Rtn Pankaj Shah, Rotary International District 3131 in a closed function. Mr. Nilesh Chavan, Founder and Managing Director, Scon Projects Private Limited, Rotarian Sheetal Shah, Membership Director, Rotary District 3131, Rotarian Brij Sethi, Chairman, Membership Committee, President Rtn. Prof. Shilpagauri Ganpule, Secretary Rotarian Prasad Ganpule, Rotary Club Chinchwad-Pune, Rotarian Rahul Purkar, Newly appointed Secretary, First Lady Ann Anjali Maidev, the President-Elect Rtn Anjali Kale were present on the occasion. Former Governors, namely, Rotarian Ravi Dhotre, Rotarian Pramod Jejurikar, Rotarian Mohan Palesha, Rotarian Deepak Shikarpur Rotarian Abhay Gadgil as well as Rotarian Pankaj Patel, Director Foundation, Rotary District 3131, Assistant Governor Rotarian Dr. Shubhangi Kothari, Rtn Kishor Gujar, Rtn Surendra Sharma, Rtn Harsha Joshi, Rtn Pramod Jadhav and Rtn Ajit Kothari graced the occasion. Rotarian Prasad Ganapule, Advisor, Rotary Club Scon Pro, thanked Governor Rotarian Pankaj Shah, Rotary District 3131, Rotarian Sheetal Shah, Director, Membership Committee, Rotarian Bridge Sethi, Chairman, Membership Committee, and Rotarian Daftardar for their assistance and guidance in the formation of the First Corporate Club in Rotary District 3131. "The Corporate Rotary Club is a new concept in the international Rotary world. Rotary clubs are usually set up by a group of people from different professions, vocations, and work backgrounds. But under the Corporate Club, people from the same company can come together and join the mainstream of Rotary by setting up a Rotary Club and carrying out various social activities conducted by Rotary. Rotary makes the holistic development of its members by providing them opportunities of volunteering resulting in the social development,” said District Governor Rotarian Pankaj Shah in his presidential address.
