| Minutes of Meeting | It was a first weekly meeting of the Club in the year 2022-2023. President Pradnya presided over the meeting. Meeting was called to order and was followed by National Anthem. The President Pradnya gave a brief narration and info about the New RI President Rtn. Jennifer Jones and about the theme of the year "Imagine Rotary". She welcomed all the members, their guests and the Chief Guest of the day - Dr. Arati Datar and her spouse Dr. Arun Datar and invited the Chief Guest on the dais. Then she requested Secretary Shantanu to make Secretarial announcements. Shantanu did so. Then she invited Rtn. Anupama to introduce the Chief Guest. In a very lucid and nice words Rtn. Anupama introduced the Chief Guest and requested on behalf of the Club to speak on the topic " To Rajhans Ek" . Rajhans in the context means Late Shri. Narayanrao Rajhans @ Balgandharva - afamous marathi stage actor who played Stree characters in the theater plays through out his life with such an ease that even ladies were unable to identify him. Dr. Arati spoke on different tallents of Late Balgandharv. With her speach , which was spellbound, the members got engrossed. The pictures Of late Balgandharv were also displayed in the auditorium. Rtn. Madhav Soman expressed vote of thanks and the President offered a gift to Dr. Arati Datar as token of love from the Club. Meeting then was adjourned by the President Pradnya. |
