He is the first vegetarian mountaineer to reach Everest. He is the first one to reach at the top in 2012. And there are many more accolades and has been awarded by the hands of Late APJ Abdul Kalam and many other respected dignitaries of the country. This event was arranged by rotary club of pune Deccan Gymkhana and Rotary club of pune Yuva. |

| Minutes of Meeting | First joint meeting of RCP YUVA for year 2022-23 Total headed attending this meeting was 6 Members, 3 Anns, 5 Annets, 2 Guests. This was a very motivating session hearing first hand experience of First Vegetarian Human in the world to reach Mt. Everest Peak. Mr. Tapkir shared various moments their team experienced while undergoing the expedition and varioud records that were set during the course. This session was so inspiring that Annet Natansh was inspired to write an essay immediately he reached home. Over all the time was well worth invested, and the joint meeting was a success. |

Its immensely satisfying to have this record on my club's name under my presidentship.. Big than you to our enthusiastic member Rtn Atul Kaluskar, MD of Crescendo World wide and creator of world beyond metaverse for his unconditional support and arrangement needed for this Hi tech meeting. Thanks to Deepak Shikarpur for his support in conceptualization and participation. Thanks to Anil Parmar for his time and agreeing to be chief guest. | Minutes of Meeting | *Minutes of General Meeting #1* Date: 14.07.22 Venue: Panvel Gymkhana The meeting started with a brief introduction of Rotary International as an organisation by President Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite. Minutes of previous BOD and details of Installation Ceremony were read by Secretary Rtn. Aditya Joshi Brief Report on completed projects was given. Details of forthcoming projects in the month of July & August were read and discussed in detail. A calender of events and projects for July & August will be shared separately. Newly inducted member rtn. Dr. Mangesh Dhake expressed his views about joining Rotary and how much he is willing to work for the community in *healthcare avenue* Rtn. Rounak Surana also expressed his views in CSR portfolio. He suggested to approach smaller companies with turnover from *5Cr. to 20Cr.* for CSR Funding as no one generally approaches them. He also suggested to take up Cricket Tournaments which will help to raise funds for the various projects. Rtn. Neeraj Kothari gave a brief overview of the ongoing Happy Village Projects: 1. Fresh List for cycle donation is generated. *35 cycles* are required. Additionally 7/8 cycles are required at the village where we fell short in the previous occasion. Rtn. Rushabh Banthia has suggested a possible deal to procure *new cycles for these 7/8 girls.* We need to appeal for other 35 cycles *(either old/new)* 2. Requirement for building a *water reservoir, pipeline and pumping facility at 5 villages* is identified and work estimation is in progress. A detailed project report will be prepared by Rtn. Neeraj Kothari, IPP Rtn. Raj Munot and Rtn. Aditya Joshi which can be further shared to obtain CSR or GG funding. 3. Requirement for other *5 toilet blocks* is also identified and similar work of estimation and project report is in progress. 4. The requirement of *slate plates* for schools children was identified. Rtn. Neeraj Kothari has already recieved 150 odd plates and he shall give further details. Rtn. Neeraj Kothari also suggested to take up a fund raising event such as *hasya kavi sammelan* or *musical night* in the month of December/January. Planning needs to start from this month. Rtn. Rajesh Mehta announced that all the tree plantation projects this year will be sponsored by Anuvrat Upsamiti Raigad. He also suggested to take up a Cycle Rally from Mahad to Kharghar. The objective of the rally is to promote and create awareness about *"Save Conserve & Nurture Nature"* This Cycle Rally is proposed in synergy with Anuvrat Upsamiti Raigad after monsoon. Rtn. Ritesh Munot shared the details for the monsoon picnic planned on 7th August 2022 We have short listed 2 locations and final negotiations are in process. Final location will announced shortly. He also made an appeal to all members to register for District Awards for RY 21-22 on 23rd July 2022 in Pune. Registration charges Rs. 800 per person. Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite also announced that our Club and AG Rtn. Manoj Munot shall be felicitated at the hands of RI President Rtn. Jennifer Jones on 22nd July 2022 at Marigold Banquets, Bavdhan, Pune. Registration is open for all members. A total of 12 Rotarians attended the meeting. The meeting concluded with Vote of Thanks by President Elect Rtn.
