| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting started with Secretary Vinayak welcoming the board members and the invitees. Secretory Vinayak read the MOM of last BOD meeting held on 1st July 2022. All were informed about the motive of inviting for BOD meeting. The agenda of the second meeting read by Secretory Vinayak. 1. Take review of the Club fees & trust contribution received so far and decide course of action to expedite the process for 100% collection. Treasure Sachin updated the board about the list of members who has paid the Club Fees and Trust contribution for RY 22 – 23 as on 6th August 22. It is decided that the board members will appeal to members, who have not paid and ensure that all dues of the club are collected. 2. Discuss the budget for yearly projects planned and status of funds available and the amount need to be raised. Treasurer Sachin updated that the approximate Trust Balance as on 6th August 2022 is Rs.10 Lacs in saving account and Rs. 5 Lacs in FD. The total funds need to be generated for the RY 22 – 23 planned projects is Rs.24 Lacks PP Rtn. Vinod suggested that current President should utilize 80% of the trust balance available at the beginning of the year and 20% of the available balance should be carried forward to the next year. Board decided to consider the suggestion. 3. Discussion of the activities planned for the Month of August 2022 President Abhay updated the board about the planned activities for month of August 22 and communicated the board about the plan to finalize August & September activities by 2nd week of August. 4. Distribution of School Kits to Sheth Hiralal Saraf Prashala , Budhwar Peth , Pune – Project complete President Abhay communicated the board that as approved plan 105 nos School Kits were gifted to students on 28th July 2022. 5. Part Distribution of E-Learning Kits and computers to Mohol Institution Schools in Maval President Abhay updated the board about the total need communicated by Mohol Institute for its 7 schools in Mulshi Taluka. He briefed the board about proposal of PP Sadanand Bhagwat of yRC Laxmi Road for contribution of Rs.9500/ each kit in case the project is in synergy with RC Laxmi Road. Thus our club will have to spend Rs.18,000 per e-learning kit instead of Rs.27,500/- the standard price. The board approved the same. 6. Secretary Vinayak briefed the board about the crowd funding method for raising funds for Club projects . Three online crowd funding platforms are identified by President Abhay & Secretary Vinayak. It is decided to study the options and prepare a presentation to load on the crowd funding platforms. 7. Rtn. Neelam Pathak elaborated about her visit to Pen along with President Abhay and Secretary Vinayak. Two pregnant cows can be donated along with 4 calves . PP Hemant has agreed to explore if Sarthak Seva Sangh can be a beneficiary and in case they are then PP Hemant offered to bare the expenses of transport for cows which is apporox Rs.15,000/-. 8. It is brought to notice by Treasurer Sachin that the change of bank account signatories for club and trusts is pending. It is decided to complete the procedure at an early date depending the availability of the old and new signatories. Sachin will coordinate for the same. 9. President Abhay informed board about the donation of Rtn. Anjali Mule Rs. 16000/- to the trust for paining of one classroom of Sheth Hiralal Saraf Prashala , Budhwar Peth. Board advised to undertake the painting work from the contractor Kamble who has already painted few classrooms in the school. 10. Secretary Vinayak updated the board about the opportunity available to conduct a Cataract Surgery camp He informed that 100 Beneficiaries are ready with Seva Arogya foundation for Cataract operation. BOD suggested to take min Rs. 100 from all beneficiaries. President Abhay and Secretory Vinayak will plan to meet the Director of Seva Arogya Foundation. The meeting ended with President Abhay and Secretary Vinayak thanked all the Board Members and the invitees present for sparing their time and contributing to the proceedings of the meeting. They also thanked Director Rtn. Prasad Panvelkar for offering the fellowship. |

Post-preFellowship, the meeting was called to order by Vice President Lekha Nair and all members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. Due to the sad demise of Pres. Uday’s mother, he had taken a leave of absence. All members and guests paid their respects to the departed soul and observed silence for a few minutes. Vice President Lekha updated all members about the RID 3131 District Awards RY 21–22; project updates at Rotary Surya Sahyadri Hospital, Eye Check-Up Camps, Project Muskan, and the inauguration of the Assembly Hall at Zilla Parishad Primary School Dhanore. We wished happy birthday to Col. V. Nandakumar Nair (Retd), Rtn. Nikhil Apte, R’Ann Dr. Bhawna Rote, Rtn. PP Prakash Gurbaxani, R’Ann Gaury Mohile, Rtn. PP Jinendra Munot, Rtn. Girdharilal Sakhrani, Rtn. Dr. Arti Khatter, R’Ann Disha Patel, Rtn. Tony Sachdev, R’Ann Deepa Dharane, R’Ann Dr. Pushpa Yadav, Rtn. Prasanta Choudhury, and Rtn. Vipen Malhotra. We also wished happy wedding anniversary to Rtn. Baakir and R’Ann Razia Baker, and Rtn. Parvin and R’Ann Neena Malhotra. Vice President Lekha welcomed the guest speaker for the week, Ms. Nisha JamVwal, well-known celebrity, columnist, luxury brand ambassador, television influencer, blogger, social worker, craft crusader, accessibility crusader, author, brand consultant, designer, and storyteller for OTT platforms, most recently on Bad Boy Billionaires Season 1 on Netflix. The talk show was hosted by Mr. Aditya Dharmadhikari. The interesting conversation gave insights into the glamorous yet simple life of Ms. Nisha JamVwal. |
