Namita Naik welcomed all the members of the board for the second BOD meeting. of the year .She shared her views regarding the various activities and programme carried out in the month of August. • She appreciated the efforts taken by Rtn Vaishali for the programme and attendance for the weekly meetings.Also she informed that our club has received the Platinum award at the club Administration seminar. • She appreciated the efforts taken by Service Project Director Rtn Vivek for various service projects in August .Also all the Team Leaders for coordinating with all the members of the club. • She also appreciated the efforts of Youth Service Director Rtn Vidya Patil for the Interact Installation programme and participation in Interact Assembly • Secretary Rtn. Atul gave the status of attendance and other activities In August • The Minutes of the last BOD were read and confirmed . Proposed by Rtn Uday Thatte Seconded by Rtn Asmita Patil. • Views of major activities and programmes to be conducted were shared by different directors. • Service Projects: Director Rtn Vivek Kulkarni Director Rtn Vivek updated about service project carried out in August 2022. Rakshabandhan was carried out at Pune Vidyarathi Graha Scholarship for students of Ragpickers on 20 August,.it was attended by many people. Projects for September are : 10000 Ladies cancer check – up 5000 eyecheck – up camp in the entire year. 600 completed . PVG – Hemaglobin and Eye checkup for students. • Club Administration: Director Rtn Vaishali Lupane Director Rtn Vaishali Lupane updated about the programme carried out in the month of August. All the meetings were Dinner meeting excluding the Business meeting which was Zoom as funds are a issue. Following programme were done in August. 6 August : Shravanutsav . Attendance 81% 13 August : Azadi ka Amrutmuhatsav Attendance 79% 21 August : Visit to Gadgil Jwellers Zapurza.- Planned 27 August : Business Meeting –Planned . In Every Meeting Rotary Information was given. She updated on the programmes for the month of September. 3 September : Meeting rescheduled to 5 September with our partner club . 10 September : Holiday due to Ganesh Chaturthi 17 September : Lecture by Chef Mr Parag Kanahare 24 September : Business Meeting . • Youth Services: Director Rtn Vidya Patil Rtn Viday Updated about the events carried out in August. We welcomed Our Inbound RYE student Mr Vincens . She has planned a metro ride and Ganpati making programme by Rtn Sameer students of C.R.Ranganathan school The Installation ceremony of our Interact Club at Bankar school was carried out The Installation ceremony of our Interact Club at Muktangan school was carried out. The budget for Rotaract has exceeded . Rs 5000 are needed. Rtn Ajit and Rtn Abhay agreed to give Rs 1000/- each • Membership Committee: Director Rtn Sameer Prabhune Director Rtn Sameer Prabhune was absent . No activites done in August.Considering the present strength of members increase of members is very essential for the club. All were requested to bring young and vibrant members.. • Public Image Committee: Director Rtn Ganesh Hadake. Director Rtn Ganesh Hadake updated about the activites carried out in August Coverage about the projects has appeared in Sakal and many newspapers. He asked members to give write up for publishing in the Apeksha magazine. He requested the board to give some donation to the magazine which was rejected. Rtn Ajit asked about the circulation of magazine, and which criteria of people read that magazine.Weekly meeting of Shravanutsav was featured in newspaper. • The Rotary Foundation: Director Rtn Meenatai Ghasasi Director Rtn Meenatai was absent. No activities were carried out. • Director Special Projects : Rtn Nitin Naik Director Rtn Nitin Naik was congraualted for the opening of the project Under nidan scheme , Breast Cancer Detection Machine to Lokmanya Hospital . Also we are planning to give Dialysis machine the approximate cost is about 96 lakh, • Finance Committee : Director Rtn Abhay Bhise Director Rtn Abhay Bhise said that he will plan and let the Board know about the plan on how to collect the required funds. • Director Vocational Service : Director Rtn Rupali Bajaj. Director Rtn Rupali was absent.No activities planned • Treasurer: Rtn Uday Thatte. Treasurer Rtn Uday informed as under The Balance in Club account is at Rs 2.48 lakh The Balance in Trust account is Rs 2.30 lakh The corpus of the club is approx. Rs 7 lakh. • IT: Director :Rtn Pushkarraj/Rtn Asmita Rtn Asmita informed that all the projects and activities carried out by our club are uploaded on District website immediately. • Club Counsellor :Rtn Ajit Kulkarni. Rtn Ajit was very much impressed with the present performance of club. He appreciated the efforts of Club Administration – Rtn Vaishali for the perfect attendance and programme. He appreciated the efforts of Sevice project – Rtn Vivek and Rtn Nitin for the service projects completed during the first 2 months. He suggested that we have to give more focus on Quality members . • Other Points : PP Rtn Kirti was present to discuss about the pending Financial matters related to her Rotary Year.After lot of discussion following is the summary of the line of action to be taken. 1. The amount of bills pending for TDS clarification is total Rs3 lakh. 2. 2 bills for small amount as per discussion will be prepared by Rtn Abhay. 3. PP Rtn Kirti to hand over the Trust and Club Hard copy records. 4. IT Acknowledgement papers to be given by PP Rtn Kirti 5. Till above records are received the NOC cannot be given. All the members explained the importance of the pending papers and why they are required to PP Rtn Kirti. PPand Director Youth Rtn Vidya Patil will host the BOD for September. | Minutes of Meeting | Good Morning friends, I am sure we all enjoyed the Bollywood Bhajan Sandhya last night. Thank you for attending in good numbers (71 people). I also wish to profusely thank everyone for the overwhelming spontaneous support given for the Gaushala project. Within 15 minutes we managed to collect donation pledges of Rs 2,32,000! I am sure many members will send their pledges in the coming days to reach our estimated target of Rs 20 Lakhs. Thank you all once again for this record breaking night..........but records are meant to be broken and we will break this one too very soon ? See you all at the next event |
