Leadership – is not a power. It is not a position. It is nothing but what it is called is how you influence others. How you engage the people. Whatever we are doing try to do best. You have to start your social work and enjoy friendship and followship. Charter is nothing but a certificate. All members should download rotary3131 app as well as visit rotary.org
We should have vision, mission, values, goals and targets etc. To retain the members and bring new members. Leadership is nothing but branding. You have to define values, core of conducts etc. Vision is most important. You have to develop your own strategy. Strategy is supposed to be decided with your own team.
Be talkative all the time. Have a good friendship, fellowship, social work, networking etc.
Self-motivation as not one is going to motivate you.

Goal setting is supposed to be SMART – Specific / Measurable / Achievable / Realistic / Timebound.
You should always wear the pin. People respect Rotarians.

2 Rotary Avenue - District Director Pallavi Sable
Rotary is an orgn which is 118 years old. It’s world’s largest NGO. There are clubs as old as rotary. Paul Harris started this in Downtown Chicago. They felt that they should give something to society. There are 45000 clubs all over world. The beauty of rotary is all positions are held only for one year and pass to next Rotarians. We are going back to society.
Rotary is very reputed orgn. Work is ethically followed. First project should be bring everyone together.
Community services – water and sanitization
Education / Literacy – informal education which is not taught in the school
Diseases – medical project – blood donations – breast cancer treatment
Maternal and child health – mobile van
Peace and conflict resolution –
Economic and community development – vocational training – adopt village
Environment – re-cycle of e-waste, river cleanup, tree-plantation, plastic re-cycling
Diversity – Equity –
Project – identify, resources, give something back to society, end users, need assessment, provide end-to-end solution, make sure it sustains [sustainability], cost-effective, time-bound, team work, learning, educate self
Charity begins at home
Service avenue – avenue of rotary – foundation is an avenue where we donate money to Rotary foundation, youth service director, public image director, international service where family exchange, make friends with global clubs, professional services, leadership training

President’s roles and responsibility – understand the team, two-way communication, decision taking, attend district event, era of networking, lite minded people, diversification, its face of the club, he is the person who is conduct the meeting, delivery will be done by president, lead by example, best time to meet max people is to visit district conference, he has to be in a parental role, members capabilities, he should be a good administrator, what other club’s resources are, presidentship is always for one year, self-satisfaction, benchmark for your own club, club bye-laws, EREY – Every year every Rotarians must donate
Secretary’s roles and responsibility – he is the backbone of the club, always behind the curtain, preparing every agenda and execution is done by president, prepare the agenda for all the meetings and send in advance, MOM, make a secretarial announcement [incoming projects, district events, bday’anniversary etc], dues collection / paid [Rotary international dues, district dues, magazine dues]
Treasurer’s roles and responsibility – job is to collect the money and collect the same in time, pay RI dues on time, maintain all the accounts, sanction the project amount / get all the required income/expenses of that project, audit, 80G trust account, FTRA [ foreign funds], reports like balance sheet, p and l etc.
BOD’s roles and responsibility – core committee of the club, decision maker of the club, there are different directors, training [district assembly] needs to be attended by each bod, should not interfere with other directors,

Service ourself – it’s a choice, wants to satisfy self through service projects, rotary is ocean of opportunity, perform your duty to complete the challenges, goal should be within our boundaries, convert our threats into challenges, whatever u are doing do it with passion/respect/carry good things

District website – only president has access, members can add meeting but president needs to approve, president to ensure that all members of using RI 3131 app, CPI [Club performance index], upload meetings, bulletins etc on website, in the trophy symbol you can see scores of all the avenues, dg visit date and details of ag you will get once u prese ‘I’, check all details in the, president needs to set goals of club, meetings [bod/regular], public image

Membership avenue – it is very vital point. Add 10 members by end of the year. Mention the ratio of male / female. Maintain average age of members. Diversity is very much important while inviting members, give orientation to new members so that he/she can continue as a member, continuous educational program is mist important part of the rotary, encouragement our members to attend the meetings, take the responsibility of mentoring, give introduction of two members in bulletin etc
BOD – board of directors – people who are managing the club activity, taking responsibility, getting involved, 13 bod members can have, 8 directors + 6 governing body, advance planning for weekly meeting, minimum 2 weekly meetings, decide the speaker in advance, board meeting once in a month, club assemblies [ all members should present],
