| Minutes of Meeting | we RCPDG members planned our Charter days celebration at our Vice President Farm house Mulshi Akole we all started from pune someone by car pooling some came direct we mate at Hotel Shirpad at 8.30 am pirangut we enjoyed pour breakfast together then proceed to Dr Pashankar farm house we have reached there by 10am .We Have visited school in Akole there we have distributed Books and Pen to Students by hands of Our annex Devansh And Akshat. we have organised dance programs and some activities like Rtn Anita di Bharud, Annet akshat dance ,Devansh dance , Rtn Jyoti ,Rtn Sakshi performed dance solo and group dance PP Rtn Shirish sang song Rtn Ketki did mimicry and Rtn Anagha arranged Fishpond it was great assimilation of club members DGE Manjoo and Rtn. Vishwas also were present for the programme. Later we had our lunch. We discussed about planing conference promotion for DGE Manjoo year . After enjoying full day at Akole we started back toward pune around 5 pm. |

| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of BoD Meeting No. 3 of the Rotary Club of Pune South conducted on 24th September 2022 at PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Pune Members Requesting Leave of Absence: PP Rtn. Dr. Sudhir Waghmare, PP Rtn. Virendra Shah Members Absent: None 1. Leave of Absence of members requesting the same was approved. 2. MOM of last meeting were put up for approval, proposed by PP Rtn. Dr. Rajendra Gosavi, seconded by PN Rtn. Dr. Mandar Ambike and approved by the board. 3. President appealed to BoD members for participation in District Conference Josh, Dhadhkan and CPR program of District. 4. Literacy Program of District 3131 will be held on 30th. Club will showcase library by Rtn. Dattaji Deodhar at Karanjavane, Science Lab at Ambavane, Soya Milk training program, e-learning software for schools in Kashmir and Braille books. 5. District Foundation seminar will be attended by Rtn. Vinod Agrawal and President. 6. President has appealed to members for maximum PHF Contribution. 7. President has collected from his group, Rs. 69,000 for the kits under District Medical project Asmita. 8. Director-Admin updates: • The weekly meetings on 9th and 23rd Oct will be held meeting on Sundays. • Board has asked that the District office be informed about this change. • Board also congratulated Fellowship Committee for its Chef's Corner initiative. 9. Treasurer updates: • Dues from four members is remaining viz. Rtn. Nitin Kulkarni, Rtn Rajendra Yelnoorkar, Rtn. Minal Malwadkar and Rtn. Amitabh Akolkar. • Treasurer put forth proposal received from CA Hrishikesh Badwe of Rs. 36,580 for maintaining Books of Accounts of the Club. Board members have asked the proposal to be reviewed and alternative looked proposals looked into. 10. Director- Youth Services updates: • Eco club and Interact Club programs are conducted regularly but October will be non-functional month due to exams and holidays. • It is also proposed to arrange a visit to The National Defence Academy for Interact Club members on a Sunday. • Board was also informed that Rotaract assemblies have been held but no other programs were done in September. • Rotaract Club of Poona South is celebrating its 50th year and programs are proposed but will have to be held back since the installation is pending. • A photo collage series on social media has been planned for Rotarians and Rotaractors during Navratri by Rotaract Club of Pune Royals 11. Director- Foundation updates: • Total APF contribution of USD 3800 has been made in July, but nothing further has been added in August. • An appeal has been made by the District Foundation Director to members to donate USD 100 each. • President Rtn. Sanjeev Ogale has become major donor so a resolution was tabled, seconded and passed to congratulate the President and First Lady Sneha Ogale. • A CSR funded project at Gundalwadi under Happy Home project for submerged Dam for water has been promised for Rs. 30 Lacs from JSW Steel and discussions are in progress. • An eye check-up camp is also to be held soon at Gundalwadi. • A solar plant has been approved under CSR funding by Sandvik Asia for old age home at Pirangut for 20KW. The total project cost is Rs. 14 lacs • Application has been received 20 KW solar plant requirement from Dnyan Prabodhini to be funded under CSR. • An application has been received from a school at Rajapur for CSR funding for various requirements and is being studied by CSR Committee. 12. Director- Service Projects updates: • A swimming competition will be held by Promotion of Sports Committee for Children with Down Syndrome on 15th October at Royal Connaught Boat Club. The entry fees will be sponsored by Mr. Sachin Abhyankar, Hon. Treasurer of the Royal Connaught Boat Club. Our PDG Rtn. Arun Kudale has been instrumental in arranging the venue for the competition. The board congratulated and thanked them both for this gesture. • Under Enviro Committee, 500 saplings are available for planting at Taljaai from Forest Dept to be planted on 2nd October. • A Proposal from Dr. Shreerang Deshpande for a van to provide medical services to village in Aurangabad cost of Rs. 15 Lacs has been received and is being studied. • A project proposal for conducting English, Science and Maths coaching for children in the slums at Tadiwala Road has been received and is being studied. 13. Director-Public Image updates: • Till date 18 Cataract surgeries have been conducted. • A Competition for Drawing, Dance and Instrumental Music will be held on 16th October for children with Down Syndrome. • A Skill Expo his planned to be held in in January at the Karve Institute. • Aeromodelling show is planned to be held in January first week. The expenses expected for this are Rs. 1 lacs and sponsorship will be sought for this. 14. Director-Medical Services updates: • Medical check-up camps for school children are being conducted and the next camp will be held on 27th September at Epiphany High School. • Fitness fellowship is regularly being conducted on Sunday • Contribution from members is sought for Kathmandu and Human Milk bank projects • A proposal has been received for NICU at Hemalkasa costing about Rs. 5 Lacs and Donors are to be identified for the same. • A Program will be held on 28th September at Tolani Maritime by the Mind Health Committee which will have a series of lectures for students regarding Mind Health for Success by Rtn. Mridula Ghodke, Rtn Shrikant Paranjape and Rtn. Anand Kulkarni. 15. A proposal was tabled by Director-Admin to procure wireless collar microphones to be used for weekly club meetings and other programs. The total expected cost is Rs. 20,000 for 2 mics. The proposal was seconded by Secretary Rtn. Abhijit Deshpande and passed by the board. 16. As no other business was proposed, the President thanked the BoD and adjourned the meeting. Rtn. Rtn Ajay Kale read the Samaj Pariwartan Puraskar Sanman Patra. Chief Guest Shri Nainesh Nandu presented the Samaj Pariwartan Puraskar to the awardee Shri Rajesh Shah. Shri Rajesh Shah expressed his feelings about receiving the Samaj Pariwartan Puraskar. Introduction of Guest of Honour Shri Nainesh Nandu was given by Rtn Vivek Kulkarni. Shri Nainesh Nandu shared his ideas about helping the society & declared donations as required for our club’s Vardaan Project and also for future projects. Introduction of Chief Guest PDG Mohan Palesha was given by PP Anant Tikone. PDG Mohan Palesha guided the audience about Rotary’s work & need of help to the society. The judges for the competition were felicitated by the Dignitaries. Competition Judge expressed their opinion about the competition. On the occasion of World Heart Day, expert cardiologist Dr. Madhusudan Asawa gave an audio-visual demonstration of the life-saving technique of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
