President started discussion on status of Ticket sell for the Project Diwali Pahat. Took status from all the members for sale of ticket as well as donation to be collected for project and in the form of advertisements. President reminded members about putting possible efforts to make reduction in property tax of the Rotary Community Hall. President appealed members to suggest possible beneficiaries for cow donation project. It was decided that this month we will not be having family night as Project Diwali Pahat is scheduled end of the month. | Minutes of Meeting | Strategic Planning meeting. Rtn Dr. Anil Parmar said that Club must have minimum 3 Projects as the signature project. He said that Club membership growth must get the top priority with a target of not less than 40 members. Meeting With President & Secretary Rtn Rajendrakumar Saraf & Rtn Jyotsna Saraf. He pointed out that change Report of trust must be done immediately. He said club is doing excellent work but is lacking in membership growth. For sustainable activity minimum 30 members are required. Meeting with Presidents of Interact Club of Interact Club of Vanaj Parivar Vidyamandir School Madhyamik Vibhag & Interac Club of Sau Pratibhatai Pawar Vidyamandir. Mentor of Club Mrs Vrushali Washimkar and Mr. Sham Dhumal made presentation of the activities. He asked the Mmemebrs to get involved with District activities for Interact Clubs. Meeting with Board of Directors & important Chairperson. All Board of Directors made the presentation of the activities carried out and activities proposed. Public Meeting Call to order by President Rtn Rajendrakumar V Saraf. After National Anthem President welcome all and presented the activities of the Club conducted since 1st July and the activities proposed under DEI. Exclusively the activities for Transgender to give them equal status. Rtn Jyotsna Saraf has presented Secretarial Report. Dr Anil Parmar First Lady Rtn Hema Parmar are felicitated. DG Dr Anil Parmar Release of E Bulletin for month of October. Rtn Tanuuja Marathe introduce DG. DG Dr. Anil Parmar congratulate the team for the excellent work done he said the club must have now focus on increasing the membership to become sustainable and viable. | Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of BoD Meeting No. 4 of the Rotary Club of Pune South conducted on 19th October 2022 at Deccan Gymkhana Club, Pune Members Absent: None 1. MOM of last meeting were put up for approval, proposed by PP Rtn. Dr. Rajendra Gosavi, seconded by PN Rtn. Dr. Mandar Ambike and approved by the board. 2. President appealed to BoD members for participation in District Conference Josh. 3. President informed that club has bought 6 Happy Family Kits as part of the District 3131 project and these will be distributed amongst the beneficiaries identified. BPL status and Aadhaar Card will be verified for identifying the beneficiaries. 4. Proposal was put up by President that elections for the Nominating Committee for RY 2022-23 be held on 14th November and PP Rtn. Sandeep Vilekar be designated as Election Officer. The proposal was seconded by PP Rtn. Dr. Rajendra Gosavi and approved unanimously by the board. 5. Director-Admin updates: • The work of all committees under Admin avenue is being conducted as expected. 6. Treasurer updates: • Dues from three members is remaining viz. Rtn. Nitin Kulkarni, Rtn Rajendra Yelnoorkar, Rtn. Minal Malwadkar are pending and it is proposed that a final attempt be made to request the members to pay the dues. • Treasurer put forth proposal received from Mr. Sagar Chale for handling the regular accounts keeping work for the Club at annual fees of R. 13000/-. The board unanimously approved this proposal. 7. Director- Youth Services updates: • Eco club and Interact Club programs are not held in October due to exams and holidays. • A proposal has been received from Saraswat Bank through PP Rtn. Dr. Rajendra Gosavi for conducting training sessions related to Net and Mobile Banking for the students in our Interact Schools. Interact Chairperson will be asked to fix up suitable dates for the same. • Board congratulated and thanked both our Rotaract Clubs and Ann Gauri Kshirsagar and Rtn. Sangeeta Deshpande for putting up photo collage of members during the Navratri Celebrations. • Installation of Rotaract Club of Poona South will be held on 20th October 2022. • As Rotaract Club of Poona South is celebrating its 50th year and programs are proposed and details will be put up in the next board meeting. 8. Director- Foundation updates: • A contribution of USD500 will be made by the club on behalf of the members towards the Polio Foundation as part of our annual RI Fund. • An appeal has been made by the District Foundation Director to members to donate USD 100 each. • The solar plant project approved under CSR funding by Sandvik Asia is nearing completion of formalities and these are expected to be complete by October end. 9. Director- Service Projects updates: • The swimming competition held by Promotion of Sports Committee and PI Committee for Children with Down Syndrome on 15th October at Royal Connaught Boat Club was highly successful. The board congratulated and thanked Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar, Rtn. Mridula Ghodke and Ann Madhavi Deshpande for successful execution of the project. The board also thanked PDG Rtn. Bhausaheb Kudale, our member and President of Royal Connaught Boat Club and Mr. Sachin Abhyankar, Treasurer, Royal Connaught Boat Club for facilitating the venue as well as payment of entry fees and organizing refreshments for the participants and all attendees. • The board also proposed that the Down Syndrome Month celebration be taken up as an annual project of our club. • Mr. Bilal, a friend of Spouse Uday Kirpekar has donated USD500 for the Down Syndrome project. The board thanked him and proposed that a formal letter of appreciation be sent by the President on behalf of the Club. • Soya Milk training project was held at Aurangabad as part of synergy project with District 3132 with lead from Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar. PP Rtn. Sudhanshu Gore and PE Rt,. Ravindra Prabhune conducted the training. Books were also distributed for a school in Aurangabad. • BWF has requested for Dictionary and Thesaurus for the students in Kashmir. The total cost expected is Rs. 10000/-. • Donation drive of books and clothes for sex workers and transgenders is planned during Diwali. 10. Director-Public Image updates: • A Competition for Drawing, Dance and Instrumental Music was held on 16th October for children with Down Syndrome. This was a very successful project. • The board congratulated and thanked Rtn. Madhuri Phadke, Rtn. Mridula Ghodke, Ann Asmita Apte for successful execution of the project and also thanked Ann. Mohini Natu, PP Rtn. Abhijit Joag, Rtn. Vilas Apte, Rtn. Abhijit Deshpande, Annette Bhagyashree Ogale, Annette Anushree Athalye, Annette Akshay Kirpekar for contributing generously to the project in terms of cash and sponsoring the fellowship for participants and attendees. • Mr. Ganesh Bavne who was the guest jury for the competition has offered to conduct pottery workshop for the children with Down Syndrome. The dates will be fixed up soon. 11. Director-Medical Services updates: • The medical camp to be conducted in Nepal has to be postponed to March due to weather conditions. A local club needs to be identified for partnering in funding the project. An expense of approximately Rs. 3 Lacs is expected is RCPS has to fund on their own. • A request has been received to provide medical equipment at the Lok Biradari Prakalp Hospital in Hemalkasa. The total cost is Rs. 15 Lacs. Club will appeal to members to donate for this project. • Fitness fellowship is regularly being conducted on Sunday • Contribution from members is sought for Kathmandu and Human Milk bank projects • A Program was held on 28th September at Tolani Maritime by the Mind Health Committee which had series of lectures for students regarding Mind Health for Success by Rtn. Mridula Ghodke, Rtn Shrikant Paranjape and Rtn. Anand Kulkarni. The board congratulated and thanked these members for their service through vocation. The board also thanked the President for arranging this program. Same program will be conducted at other institutes. A similar program for the parents is also proposed. • Our past program of Fall Prevention for senior citizens is proposed to be revived from this year. • AIDS Patients Rehab committee has planned monthly grocery distribution on 21st October at Kalaprasad Hall. 12. Director-Membership updates: • A proposal has been put forth that Anns of the Club be allowed to become Rotarians by paying only RI and District Dues and waiving off Admission and Club Dues. Members expressed their views and it was decided that the issue be deliberated further before taking any decision. 13.
