| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes – 5th BOD MEETING – 11th January 2023 1. Club's 5th BOD meeting was held on 11th January 2023 at Rotary Community Centre, New Panvel. 2. All the members present for the meeting were welcomed by President. 3. Minutes of the last BOD meeting were ready by Secretary Hitesh and approved unanimously. 4. PP Alibhai Vohra informed about blanket donation project to be carried out by the Bohra Jamaat Panvel and RCPIT in synergy. 5. President discussed about incoming projects including Project Happy Street at Vadale Lake Panvel on 12th February. Sponsorships to be sought for the same. 6. President also updated about International RYLA in synergy with club in Pune on 29th January. 7. President also apprised Board regarding CSR Awards. Need to do a survey and suggest names of companies in Raigad district who have done a considerable work in CSR. President to form a committee and make a Whatsapp group for the same. 8. Board also discussed about the Elections of District Governor Nominee to be held during District Conference. 9. PP Prakash Shringarpure updated the Board on the progress of new Global Grant of cataract surgeries. PP Dr. Janardhan's friend, Dr. Yatish Merchant, has agreed to donate 10000 dollars for the project. International partner yet to be confirmed. 10. President proposed to conduct all the meetings with Anns which was not approved by most of the members. It was decided to continue with the current format of not involving Anns in the business meetings. 11. President proposed for a picnic to Goa for male Rotarians after DG Visit of 15th March. PND Nilesh and Rtn. Jitendra to coordinate for the same. 12. President presented a new amended logo for the Club, which was not approved by the Board. Current logo of the Club to continue. 13. IPP queried about the letter to be sent to DG regarding PP Harmesh. President informed that some details regarding the letter were still pending and the letter will be sent once this required information is received from IPP. The details required are; Date of BOD, Date of Resolution, Date of expulsion, Info mail sent to District, Reply sent to Harmesh, etc. 14. Vote of Thanks given by PE Dr. Jay. 15. Launched as per plan on Oct 1, board is pending.
Happy village: not much progress since last scouting visit
Drinking water project at Pandeshwar for Temple is over, inauguration is planned on
Tuesday 8th November’22. Board approved donation of water filter costing about
7800.
Drinking water project for village school - work is in progress. Taken care by
Bantwal foundation as of now.
The Last Word debate Competition
5th Nov and 12th Nov, locations is MCCI Auditorium Hadapsar, 16 schools and 13
colleges have confirmed so far.
The project cost is expected to be about 50k. Board approved raising funds from
members upto 50k towards this cost.
Prizes will be sponsored by Rtn Bantwal,
5k for winner and 2.5k for runner-up in both the category
5k for best speaker in both the category
Also a trophy for each of these and also for the Best researched team
Children’s Bliss: updates regarding discussion with SCAW

| Minutes of Meeting | Rotary Club of Pune Sahawas BOD Meeting for the month of December 2022 Minutes of meeting dated January 8, 2023 Present: Pres. Ajay Mutatkar, IPP Mahindra Chitte, Sec. Rahul Lale, Rtn Nandakumar Ghule, Rtn. Prakash Avachat, Rtn. Sudhir Vaidya, Rtn. Kiran Ingale, Rtn Nivedita Muley, Rtn Pratibha Jagdale, Rtn Dinkar Palaskar. Points discussed; Points agreed are as under: 1. President Shared that we all have to gear up for the Avishkar musical program planned on 13th evening. WE have received donation of Rs 3 Lakhs so far and shared the major donor list. He shared that 350 visitors had already confirmed and we expect total of 500. 2. We plan to felicitate major donors during the program. Also looking for a sponsor for a cloth bag (okay with sponsor name) to keep water bag and snacks. 3. Hirkani Budget was revisited. Currently we are gifting a Mug and Dust Bin (part of Environment Project initiative). The board members agreed to keep only Mug as gift for the members birthday. Board approved expenditure of 8,400 for the first six months. Total expenditure is expected to be Rs 50,800 for the year. Ways to increase budget were discussed. It was agreed that this Hirkani work was commendable as during the visit, lot of idea exchange, Rotary Projects/ initiatives were also shared. I was agreed that this work will continue. 4. Board approved the use of Sunshine Box saving for the Hirkani Project. 5. Board approved induction of two new members in Rotary Sahawas Club. Rtn Saptarshi and Rtn Swati Kothadia. It was agreed that when we take new members, we shold obtain NOC if they were members of any other Rotary Club. 6. Budget Asmita – Visit is planned on 17/1/2023. The expenses include travel, food, gift, medical support. Plan was to undertake visit to 4 schools. The Board approved Rs 25,000 for Asmita Project. Board approved for taking Mummy Vehicle for the Asmita visit. Board also approved Rs 10,000 for sanitary napkins. 7. President shared that Sahawas Carnival was planned on February 25, 2023. Punyai Hall would be the venue. 8. The Board approved Rs 8,500 for the visit of 8 students to the Space Centre Hinjewadi. 9. For the DG elections, it was shared that Rtn Santosh Marathe, Rtn Pankaj Patel, RTn Pallavi Sable would be the candidates. Board members requested to have their profile for the review. 10. The board approved Rs 10,000 for 120 Educational Boards for 5 schools. 11. Rtn Prakash Avachat shared the Swarangan program to be held at District Level. 12. Follow up for the pending membership fee was also discussed during the meeting. |
