| Minutes of Meeting | Ann Anjali Arvikar introduced the guest. Dr. Smita Sovani is a financial analyst by education, after working in this field for 16 years, she turned into music therapist. According to her there is lot of misunderstanding about this term, which people try to relate with yoga & religion. But in reality, it is far beyond this. Therapy by and large, is related to sick people. whereas this can be related to normal people from industry, traders, students, research analyst, scientist etc. She recommended many Indian Classical Raagas for various state of mind, like Darbari, Darbari Kanada, Kedar, Malkauns, Jaijaiwanti, Marwa, Bhairav, Ahir Bhairav, Bhairavi & Bageshwari etc. Dr. Manoj Deshpande gave vote of thanks, in which he related the Music Yoga with Ayurvedic treatment. |
