| Minutes of Meeting | Good morning... *सहवासीय*, On Friday 31st March we had our all important AG visit preparatory for DG visit on Thursday 6th.April. AG Rtn Tina Rattra expressed satisfaction over the performance of club in the current year 2022-23 spoke on - Upkeep of records/accounts, various synergies with District in Global Grants and other projects, Sport project at Indapur, fund raising event अविष्कार etc. Membership and Foundation are the cornerstone of ROTARY on which any Club's evaluation is based. As regards membership, we have moved from 42 as on 1st July 2022 to 52 as on date registering healthy growth of around 24℅. Foundation is all about *giving* where we have reached USD 5000 in APF. Some gap is yet to be covered shortly. *EREY* (Each Rotary Every Year) is the call by RI for all Rotarians to contribute every year the minimum of USD 27 ( Rs. 2200 ). All our clubs are expected to be 100℅ donors under EREY. *RCP Sahawas is not full 100℅ so far*.I appeal all to contribute Rs. 2200 before DG visit on 6th.April. Another area where we have to work fast is to get all our members registered on District /Rotary site by downloading the App. You all have to small steps in this regard which will take SAHAWAS to greater height. | Minutes of Meeting | II जय श्री राम II दिनांक ३१ मार्च रोजी, रोटरी क्लब ऑफ पुणे प्राईड व रोटरी क्लब ऑफ पुणे सारसबाग यांनी आयोजित केलेल्या 'रामरक्षा स्तोत्रमंत्र' या विषयावर ऑनलाईन कार्यक्रमात सहभागी होण्याचे भाग्य लाभले. वक्त्या व विषयतज्ञ, रोटे. गौरी शिकारपूर यांचे व्याख्यान केवळ 'रामरक्षा स्तोत्रमंत्र' या विषयावरच सिमित नव्हतं, तर त्यांनी त्याही पलीकडे जाऊन आपल्या हिंदू संस्कृती बद्दल व त्यातील अनेक पैलू व्यवस्थितपणे, अर्थपूर्णपणे व आत्मीयतेने समजावून सांगितले. त्यांनी अत्यंत मोकळ्या मनाने व स्पष्टपणे सांगितले कि साधारणतः आपण लहानपणी आपल्या हिंदू संस्कृतीतील संस्कार व रितीभाती खूप लक्षपूर्वक किंवा जाणीवपूर्वक असे पाळत नाही किंवा त्या बद्दल आपल्याला कोणी नीट शिकवत नाही. त्यातल्या त्यात आपण 'शुभं करोती कल्याणम' हि प्रार्थना सायंकाळी म्हणत असू, पण ती का म्हणायचो आणि तिचा पूर्णतः अर्थ हे आपल्याला कदाचित माहीत नसावे.मात्र इतर पाश्चात्त्य संस्कृतीतील अनेक चालीरीती आपण सहजपणे आत्मसात करण्यास तत्पर असतो. आणि त्यामुळे आपल्याला आपल्या संस्कृतीचे महत्व वा माहात्म्य कळत नाही. त्यामुळे आपल्या जीवनास मौल्यवान मार्ग मिळण्याची व संपन्नता मिळविण्याची जी संधी असते, ती आपण बऱ्याच प्रमाणात गमावून बसतो. आपल्या सगळयांना हे नक्कीच लक्षात येत असेल कि शतकानुशतके हिंदू धर्माचा व संस्कृतीचा ऱ्हास होत आलेला आहे आणि समाजात या बाबतीत अनभिज्ञता पसरलीं आहे. यामुळे देशाचें भरपूर नुकसान झाले आहे. गौरीताईनी रामरक्षा स्तोत्रमंत्राचे कसे लाभ होतात व आपण ह्या मंत्राचा अभ्यास का करावा व त्याचा लाभ कसा घ्यावा या बाबतीत सविस्तर माहिती सांगितली. 'रामरक्षा स्तोत्रमंत्र' यातील शब्दांचा अर्थ काय व त्यांच्या उच्यारण्याने कसा परिणाम होतो हे सर्व नीट समजावून सांगितले. एका सुसंस्कृत, जाणकार व हिंदू संस्कृती बद्धल आत्मीयता असलेल्या व्यक्ती कडून एक छान शिकवण मिळाल्याचे समाधान झाले व आपल्या समाजाला पूर्ववत आपल्या मुळं भारतीय जीवनशैली कडे पूर्णतः कसे वळवीता येईल व यासाठी आपण आपला खारीचा वाटा कसा देऊ शकतो हा विचार मनास भिडून गेला. |

Secretary Rtn.Pramod Pathak The minutes of the last BOD (31/03/23) were approved unanimously. Treasurer Rtn. PP.Ashok Gadgil Rtn. PP. Ashok Gadgil told BOD that we are comfortably positioned as President Dr. Mrinal Nerlekar managed to save substantially on the hall rent of weekly meetings, & expenses were kept within budget by the event team (club day &D.G. visit). BOD approved the revised resolution for change in signatory to be submitted to Cosmos Bank. Rtn. Ashok Gadgil suggested printing new RCPS flags. Trustee Rtn.Gurunath Palekar told BOD that Rs.75000/- is still available for the new project in the remaining period of the Rotary year. BOD approved Rs.10,000/- for the health checkup camp done for contract workers at IISER in collaboration with Bharati Vidyapeeth, BOD also approved Rs.15000/-for the training of 5 teachers under the project Doorstep School, & Rs.2500/-, for stationery kit for 10 students of JIJAU Foundation (project suggested by Rtn. Parag Kapre). The updation committee has taken note of the suggestion given by Rtn. PP. Ashok Gadgil after a detailed discussion on the updation of bye-laws, it has been decided that once again mail should be sent to all BOD for their suggestions and objections on bye-laws updation within a stipulated time and it will be further discussed and decided in EGM to be held on 17/04/23. An E-learning kit was installed at Madhyamik School under the synergy CSR project with RCP Far East, the proposed inauguration of the same is scheduled for 13/04/23.
