| Minutes of Meeting | DG’s Official Club Visit to RCP – Sahawas on Thursday 6th April 2023 District Governor Rtn Dr Anil Parmar’s OCV ( Official Club Visit ) to our club was planned on Thursday 6th April,2023. The meeting was arranged @ PYC Hindu Gymkhana from 6.30pm. DG had a meeting with President Rtn Ajay Mutatkar and Secretary Rtn Rahul Lale regarding the Club’s administration, functioning and status of various avenues. He took keen interest in the Membership and Foundation activities and gave specific guidelines about them. DG, then had a meeting with President, President-Elect, President nominee and Secretary regarding strategic planning of the club. DG and AG Rtn Tina Ratra appreciated the SWOT done and the focus areas defined and asked to make specific formatted plan for next 3 years in all avenues and asked to set ambitious goals – both in strategic plan and on the District and RI site. DG advised that every President-elect should arrange a fund raising event prior to his/her presidentship to fund for the projects in his/her presidential year. In the meeting with all BOD’s ,all the BOD’s presented the outstanding work done by everyone in their respective avenues. He appreciated the club leadership regarding the excellent work done in all the avenues. The public meeting began with the President’s call to order and National Anthem. Secretary Rtn Rahul gave an overview of events during the current Rotary year by presenting some facts and figures which were encouraging – increased membership from 42 to 52, more than 28 service projects, coming closer to Foundation target of $5000, more than 25 New Generation activities, Good Public image building and use of IT like You-tube. He also mentioned about future plans and activities of the club. President Rtn Ajay in his speech, described the success of our signature project this year “ Community development thro’ sports” being led by “ तरुण तेजांकित” Rtn Aditi Mutatkar Athlye. He also appreciated efforts of our Rotarians and directors who worked meticulously during the success of “District Club Administration Seminar “ and our fund raising event "आविष्कार". He also appreciated all directors and Rotarians who participated and made our weekly programs, service projects , youth activities and events successful. He quoted Ajay Devgan’s dialogue “जिम्मेदारी लोगोंको अच्छा इन्सान बनाती है " and said We could do still better. DG Rtn. Dr Anil Parmar emphasized that Rotary is all about the Teamwork to deliver happiness, to give back something to the society. He said we should induct and involve many members , especially young ones to work hard card to carry the motto of Rotary –“Service above Self”. He appreciated our club’s performance in all the areas and sighted that Needs in community are too big and all we all Rotarians- across the world should Dream Bigger – Think Bigger and Deliver Bigger. He also said that Rotary carries strong brand value and we Rotarians underutilize that. He said a lot of CSR funds are available with corporates and there should be a systematic approach to catch the CSR funds. And a director – CSR is the need of hour, for every Rotary club. He said Rotary Brand to be publicised not only club webpage or links but also on individual basis on fb page, twitter/WAPP accounts to spread the news of good work done by Rotary. He emphasised the term “ Joy of Giving” and said funds are not an issue for any good project – but “Ask” for it is the master-word. DG wished us a good luck and congratulated again for our all round activities . Our Rotarians who made our Service Projects, RYE activities, Fund raising activity, Club Admin Seminar successful , were appreciated at the hands of DG Rtn Dr Anil.
