| Minutes of Meeting | Attendees: Rotarians S Poonawala, Gulu Jagat, Suhail, Sameer, Hussainbhai, Nisrin, Mohammedbhai, Rashida, Papaji, & Kunjan Fellowship by the Club. 1. The meeting was presided by Rtn Poonawala and commenced with the National Anthem. 2. All the Teachers were applauded as it was Teachers Day. 3. Rtn Nisrin was asked about her plans for the next year. She was advised to start preparing right away. 4. Rtn Mohammedbhai reported that the blood donation camp in Azam Campus would be carried out on 28th December'23. 5. Rtn Mohammedbhai also suggested carrying out the ' Good touch, bad touch' project in schools. This could be for girls from 3rd to 8th grade. While it is also a part of the school syllabus, it could still be carried out in Girme and Shiva Valley schools . 6. The School had agreed for a health checkup in Shiva Valley. Team to organise this event. 7. While there was an invitation for a joint meeting with RC Pune Cantonment. However Rtn Poonawala explained why this would not be possible . 8. Rtn Nisrin was applauded for the excellent way the books project was carried out. 9. A project to provide footwear to school children was proposed by Papaji. More details with cost provision is awaited. 10. It was emphasised that it is extremely important to generate membership. Papaji suggested to get people to the meetings without asking to join the club. 11. RC Karvenagar have organised a picnic to Wilderness Resort at cost of 1300/person. The club considered going to the resort being too tedious due to traffic and rush there. 12. Club was informed that an eye checkup could be organised any Thursday. 13. It was decided to hold the trust meeting after return of the President. 14. Secretarial announcements announced the Birthday of Rtn Rashida which is on 8th September. The club wishes her a very happy birthday.. 15. Rtn Poonawala shared that his horse Alpine Star was the winner of the Independence Cup and is teaching again next week. All the best for the same. 16.
