| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting called to order by President Girish at 7.30 followed by National Anthem. He welcomed the guest and all attendees. This was followed by the main programme. Ann Anjali Gadgil gave introduction of the guest speaker Mrs namika Borkar. Mrs Borkar gave a inspiring insights into the life of Maharani Yesubai in her flowing oration. Ann Lalitgauri delivered vote of thanks and President Girish felicitated the guest speaker. This was followed by the rotary business. This included various announcements related projects and other important club and district events. PHF+2 pin was presented to Dr Aditi. President Girish felicitated the club members and anns on their birthdays and anniversaries (names mentioned in the agenda) for that week and any other achievements. Secretary Sanjeev Karanjakar announced the programme for the next week (as mentioned in agenda) The meeting was adjourned. |

| Minutes of Meeting | An enjoyable talk by Rtn. Charu Shrotri of his Self-Drive experience in 2017 from Pune to Germany. Five vehicles began their journey, with two occupants each, and in the process covered 21,644 kms encompassing 14 countries. The route he took from India was Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Russia, Central Asian Republics like Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan then to Latvia, Estonia, Poland and finally Hamburg, Germany. Charu began by speaking about the preparation for this trip. It entailed branding the vehicles, necessary paperwork and permissions and visas among others. He narrated his journey as he passed each country. The warm hospitality they received in Myanmar to the cold reception in China. This was the period when Doklam standoff took place and the Chinese people were very suspicious of Indians. |
