| Minutes of Meeting | Rotary Club of Poona Downtown on Thursday, 14th September, invited some of these Special Angelic Teachers along with their differently-abled students and the Principals from the Special Schools and felicitated them. The two Schools identified for the event were The Poona School and Home for the Blind Boys (Koregaon Park) and the Garland Craig Memorial School for the Deaf (YMCA) It was heartwarming to experience the gratitude that the invitees expressed towards this gesture from RCPD, for inviting them with their spouses/family and felicitating them. Each of the invitees was given two minutes to speak and it was marvelous to note how well they maintained the time. A short video was shown to the audience to introduce the school in consideration before each felicitation segment. |

President briefed about talks underway with PHC Ajivli i/c for Hepatitis-B Vaccination of their Anganwadi & Asha sevikas. President read out the requirements for DG visit and things to be done. |

| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting called to order by President Girish at 7.30 followed by National Anthem. He welcomed the new members and all attendees. This was followed by the main programme. Ann Mrudula Joshi gave introduction of the new members who joined our club. It was an excellent interaction with Dr Poornimagauri, Mr and Mrs Khedekar and Mr and Mrs Gore. Ann Mrudula had done her home work on new members and got them talking about thier hobbies, families, education and personal background. Dr Gore gave a rendition on his flute. President Girish felicitated ann Mrudula and the new members. This was followed by the rotary business. This included various announcements related projects and other important club and district events. President Girish felicitated the club members and anns on their birthdays and anniversaries (names mentioned in the agenda) for that week and any other achievements. Stand in Secretary Rtn Aparna announced the programme for the next week (as mentioned in agenda) The meeting was adjourned. |
