Meeting began with National Anthem. Agenda today was e Waste Project to be carried on 05.11.2023 and to maximize participation in this important project, Google Form to be prepared for participating in this project. IT Director Vivek agreed to frame Google Form for its submission online. Maximum publicity to be done in and around Lodha Belmondo Complex with banners in Main club and internal streets, Society entrance etc. Club members also discussed over some prospective projects like Computer Training to desired public, Borewell recharging etc. to be undertaken in and around Lodha Belmondo Complex areas. It is also discussed about Audit of E waste project carried out in 22-23 and to entrust this work to Rajeev Agarwal. This year E Waste project will be undertaken on 05.11.2023 Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM At Club House and from 3 PM to 5 PM at Ground Floor of Each Tower in Belmondo Complex. Kshama Foundation who Last Year supported our Club will support again this year also and Club discussed with the concerned authority in this matter. Club decided to take help from Lodha staff and to call Wasim Patel to help Club in maximum manner. Service Director Snehal agreed to locate three spots to make awareness of this project. Club decided that our weekly Club meeting on every Saturday will continue though DG suggested to shift it to Friday for maximum participation. Considering last years’ experience in this, Saturday club meeting day will continue in 23-24. Club plans to conduct training session to all Rotarians in the club as well prospective customers in the month of Nov 2023. Will be inviting District Trainer for the same. Exact dates will be announced later. Club unanimously voted CA Lalit Dua as a Treasurer for the coming year 2024-25. Club already voted President Elect Vivek Jamdar and secretary Elect Snehal Kothari. Club intends to celebrate Diwali by organizing Dinner one week before Diwali 2023 and Adesh , Vivek and Snehal will look for venue and cost thereof. Details will follow in due course. Secretary put subject of registration for District Conference to be held in January 2024 at Pandit Farms for two days program. Club also discussed visit to Mai Bal Bhavan a school for differently abled students. Members visited on 06.10.2023 and decided to ask 10 years’ Road Map of this institution with strategic planning perspective and to chalk out our club role as a catalyst to play in future. if found suitable/practicable. | Minutes of Meeting | A Murder Mystery Solved by RCPC RCPC members stepped into the shoes of Sherlock Holmes to decipher cryptic clues to solve a mysterious murder. R’Ann Sonia Rajore enlisted the help of young students Divisha Jain, Deana Mittal and Hridhaan Mehta to compel RCPC members to put on their thinking caps to figure out several complex clues. The interactive activity proved to be great fun for participants. The evening began with President Ajay giving updates on contributions to the Spirit of Giving fundraising, ongoing Eye Check-up Camps, and the installation of our Interact Club at the Anglo-Urdu Boys High School. RCPC member Dr Anand Bhatia was congratulated for being honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the opening function of the Maharashtra State Anaesthesiologists Conference. Then it was Past President Suhas Merchant’s turn to reminisce about his term in office in 1991–1992, during which the theme was “Look Beyond Yourself”. Recalling the Club’s many projects, PP Suhas listed many achievements during his term in office, including printing copies of the Centralnet directory in the age of typewriters and manual typesetting; setting up Pay & Use toilets for the first time in Pune’s Market Yard; organizing free medical and plastic surgery camps; and summer placements for young students, among several other projects. He was conferred with the Outstanding President Award for District 3130 and the Outstanding Club Award for District 3130. We offered birthday greetings to Rtn. Baakir Baker, Rtn. Aseem Srivastav, R’Ann Roma Makhija, Mr Histas Randeria, R’Ann Rinku Nehra, R’Ann Razia Baker and R’Ann Namrata Sarda. The evening ended with a Happy Hours Fellowship hosted by Rtn. Nitin Rajore. |

Milind Kulkarni will send email to District about inability to bear further expenses of Membership Seminar which was clearly conveyed prior to accep?ng to host the event. 2 Declara?on of Dates of DG and AG visit President Ashok Pathak informed that DG visit would be on 29 March 2023 and AG visit would be on 14 March 2023. 3 Follow-up for club fees from pending members President Ashok informed that club fees are received from Abhijit Joshi and Prasad Panvelkar. Now dues are pending only from Badrinath and Vivek Ratnalikar. He further added that Badrinath is out of India for vaca?on and Vivek would be soon leaving India. He will be contac?ng both of them. Discussing requirements from Vinzai Devi School - Tamhini Ghat regarding Rainwater Harves?ng President Ashok explained the requirement of the school. All present agreed that this can be a useful project for the school. However the need assessment and feasibility study needs to be undertaken by an expert. President further informed that he has already spoken to Rtn. Dayanand Panse who is expert in this domain and they will soon visit the school as per the mutual convenience. The feasibility study as well as cost es?mate would be derived a?er this visit. 5 Conduc?ng Financial Literacy Camp for Women in slum areas President Ashok informed about this District ini?a?ve. The speaker would be provided by the district. We need to iden?fy the slum area loca?on, women and venue. The speaker would be arranged by the district once we inform the venue and par?cipants on mutually convenient date. Rtn. Abhijit Wani would the chairperson for this project. IPP Rtn. Abhay Sawant and Rtn. Vinayak would work with him for this project. 6 Discussion regarding budget alloca?on for certain last minute synergy projects and their approval by BOD Special invitee and Club Charter President Vinod Shrivastava narrated that every year our Club budget has President Fund of Rs. 10,000/- which he can use for any good project of his choice without approval of BoD. He just has to inform about the same to BoD. His further expert comments were that for any synergy project there can not be pre-approved amount from BoD. For any new project, the approval should be taken from the board either in physical mee?ng or on WhatsApp. He also added that the Rotary Club projects should be of BIG level and not of the level which a common person can execute at personal level. 7 Discussion regarding Global Grant President Ashok informed about the dona?on of 5 dialysis machines to a Dialysis centre near Patwardhan Baug run by Sevasadan ins?tute. The total project will be around INR 40 lakhs. It was decided to prepare ini?al documenta?on for star?ng communica?on with interna?onal partner. It was further decided that President Ashok will share the documents with PP Avanii and she will prepare the documents required for Global Grant as she has experience of execu?ng two Global Grant projects in the RY 21-22. 8 Inaugura?on of Solar Water Heater System President Ashok informed and shared the pictures of Solar Water Heater System installed at by our club. He also read the le?er received from the school. He appealed the present rotarians that the inaugura?on func?on of this project is to arranged and needs to be a?ended my maximum rotarians which was agreed by all Contribu?on to Cow Dona?on Global Grant Project by R C Poona North Rtn. PP Avanii informed about Global Grant Project of R C Poona North which is Cow Dona?on – a signature project by that club. R C Poona North has requested our club to support either by dona?ng UDS 1000 to their Global Grant account or get individual 8- 10 donors of Rs. 10,000/- per cow. As R C Poona North has supported our club in ge?ng CSR and in our Global Grant project, it was decided to support them by dona?ng UDS 1000 to their Global Grant account either from our trust or from individual 5-10 donors of our club. 8 Direc?on Banners in Chandani Chowk IPP Abhay Sawant proposed a project of pu?ng Direc?on Boards in Chandani Chowk the place which is very confusing to the commuters. The proposal was well taken by all present. Now IPP Abhay will check the permissions required for such boards and get back to the BoD. 9 The mee?ng was graciously hosted by Rtn. Milind Kulkarni.
