Manjoo Phadke, Escorted to Venue by President Rtn.Balkrishna Ambekar & Secretary Rtn.Vijay Goregaonkar. 7.10 pm : Welcome of DG at venue and had Coffee & biscuits. 7.20 pm : Strategic Planning Committee meeting started & had discussions on various projects. 7.45 pm : BoD meeting started and had discussions with directors of rotary avenues. Presented Club Reports in physical forms & gave information on various reports in soft copies. AG Rtn. Rammohan Shinde had appraised about the club projects, goals set and it's achievements. Avenue directors have presented their report for the past three months and appraised of the future projects. DG had concluded meeting with some informative suggestions about membership & TRF giving. 8.30 pm to 8.45 pm : Break for Tea/coffee & biscuits. 8.50 pm to 10.30 pm : General meeting : Anchoring of the entire meeting had nicely done by Rtn.Rupesh yadav ( Club Admn.). * President Rtn.Balkrishna Ambekar & Secretary Rtn. Vijay Goregaonkar were requested to come on dais and be seated on the chair. * Meeting called to order by president. * Sung National Anthem by all. * President welcomed DG Manjoo Phadke with Rose Flower & Secretary welcomed AG Rtn.Rammohan Shinde with Rose flower. * Thereafter , all District officers, Senior Rotarians, Cop mates, guests were felicited/welcomed with rose flowers. * Secretary Rtn. Vijay Goregaonkar has given his reports on various projects undertaken during past three months through PPT presentation. The presentation was appreciated by all. *President Balkrishna Ambekar had expressed his views on forthcoming projects. He commented on the membership growth to be achieved. He handed over 410$ ( INR 34,030/-) cheques to DG towards APF contribution having aggregate APF contribution of 888$ till the date of visit. President had appealed to fellow cops to become synergy partner in their projects. He thanked DG , AG and all who was present for the meeting and concluded his speech. * Thereafter AG Rtn.Rammohan Shinde had commented favorably about the working of club and various reports submitted in physical form. He told that the club has paid RI dues, District Dues and Magazine subscription in time and the club is primarily eligible for Presidential Citation. His speech concluded with satisfactory remarks about the club. * Introduction of DG is given by running AV by Rtn. Rupesh Yadav. * DG had delivered very informative and inspiring information about Rotary, its importance in life. She has commented on various avenues and aspects of the rotary which is very useful for every Rotarian. She assured for any help required to the club. | Minutes of Meeting | The meeting called to order by President Girish at 7.30 followed by National Anthem. He welcomed the guest and all attendees. This was followed by the main programme. PP Rtn Aparna Kshirsagar gave introduction of the guest speaker Dr, Kanchan Khairatkar. Dr Khairatkar presented her views on milk. She also spoke about A1 and A2 milk and what is good quality milk. PP Rtn Alka Kulkarni delivered vote of thanks and President Girish felicitated the guest speaker. This was followed by the rotary business. This included various announcements related meetings, projects and other important club and district events. President Girish felicitated the club members and anns on their birthdays and anniversaries (names mentioned in the agenda) for that week and any other achievements. First Lady Radhika made an announcement about the club’s “भोंडला” planned on 19th October and the dress for the same. Copies to be made: 1000 Estimated fund raise: Rs. 2.5 lacs Project Chairman: Rtn. Shirish Joshi B) Misal Mahotsav 2023 Planned in the month of November. The event will be for 3 days. Estimated Fund Raise: 2.5 - 3 lacs Project Chairman: Rtn. Ritesh Munot C)Box Cricket Box Cricket Tournament to be arranged in the month of Jan/Feb Estimated Fund Raise: Rs. 75,000 - 1 lac Project Chairman: Rtn. Sachin Banthia The raised funds would be used as club cash contribution for the GG project for Pediatric Heart Surgeries. I request all the members to contribute their time and efforts for collecting funds through these fund raisers for a noble cause. I believe together we can achieve and surpass the target of 6 lacs by end of February. 3. Formation of Interact and Rotaract Club A) Application for Rotaract Club of Kalsekar Technical Campus is made and we are expecting the charter from RI in next 2 weeks. B) Similar application for Rotaract Club of Pillai College of Architecture is to be made in the coming 2 weeks. Ann Poorva Joshi is coordinating with the faculties. C) Dean of Kalsekar Technical Campus, Pharmacy Department has suggested 2 schools for the interact clubs. A visit to these schools is in planning stage. I will request a team of 4-5 members to accompany myself and Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite to visit these schools and check the possibility of forming Interact Club. 4. Club Program and Activities Rotaract Club of Panvel Elite has organized a Garba Raas on 28th October. The details of the same are posted on the group. It's an appeal to all the members to participate and encourage your friends and relatives to purchase the passes and raise funds for a social cause. We as the parents of Rotaractors are required to attend in full quorum and have fun with them. 5. Election for the Club President for the year 2026-27 The election for the club president for the RY 26-27 was declared in the BOD. The committee consists of: Chairman: IPP Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite Members: PP Rtn. Raj Munot, PP Rtn. Ashish Mehta, PP Rtn. Ritesh Munot, PP Rtn. Shirish Joshi and PP Rtn. Manoj Munot The forms are available at Rtn. Ashish Mehta's shop The last day for filing the nomination is 30th November 2023 6. Any Other Matter A) Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite has received a request to conduct a Typhoid Vaccination Camp for Vaishya Samaj in Mirchi Galli, Panvel. The proposed date for the project is 28th October. The number of vaccinations requested is 200. The cost of the project is Rs. 15000 Rtn. Pankaj Soni is trying to get the vaccines at a lesser cost. I appeal if any other member can also contribute to arranging funds or getting a sponsor for the project. B) Rtn. Rushabh Banthia has sponsored 2 CPUs. We need 2 monitors, keyboards and mouse. If any member has them in spare and can donate, please contact me or Rtn. Rushabh Banthia. 2 computer sets are required in our tribal villages. C) On 6th October, a meeting with PDGs from the Raigad region was held at New Panvel Blood Bank Hall. The agenda was to declare DG's candidacy for the Rotary Year 26-27. Rtn. Nitin Dhamale has been nominated for the post. This meeting was attended by Presidents and a few senior BOD members of each club in the Panvel region. As of now, no candidate is challenging Rtn.
