| Minutes of Meeting | On November 8 at 7 pm, the facade of Ganesh Hall was decorated with beautiful rangolis. As soon as we entered, we were met by a number of Annes and Rotarians, decked out in seven colours, who insisted on delicious refreshments. Everyone enjoyed the Diwali Faral with the guests who came in an atmosphere of chat, laughter and enthusiasm. With the flow of the program, everyone took their place in the Hall. Mr. Mukul Kudale's Rangoli at the enterance of the hall and the stage decoration was eye-catching. Rtn.Swati Patil had a valuable contribution in this decoration. It started with the national anthem. Birthdays and upcoming events were announced as usual. PDG Rashingkar exchanged our club flag with the flag of Rotary club Naperville, USA, and handed it over to President Minal. President Minal then handed over the mic to director Mr. Manish Gokhale. Featuring songs composed by nine different music directors, Ann Pratibha Karnik, Annette Anuja Karnik and co-singer Atul Killedar took the show to a different level with their melodious singing. Enchanted fans clapped, whistled, once more and extended the program by half an hour. Ann Pratibha Karnik is a classical music singer. With the same strength, she performed light Bollywood songs in a very melodious manner. The last song "Dum Maro Dum" sung by RD Burman made the audience dance on the spot. Secretary Smita Shah expressed her gratitude for such a beautiful program and felicitated the artists and wished them a happy Diwali. After that, the devotees relished the thoughtfully prepared delicious Preeti Bhojan. This beautiful program ended with the songs in the voice of Pratibha Tai, which resonated in the ears and in the mind. |
