Nomination commitee election was conducted follwoting members are members of the nomination commitee Amit Mutha (C) Kranti Shah Col Anil Shukla Jaideep Malvia Kavita Mutha Sachin Parmar Sadiq Sagar Rotary Club of Pune Camp - Nomination Committee Election Rules and Procedures 1. Eligibility: All members of the Rotary Club of Pune Camp are eligible to participate in the Nomination Committee Election. 2. Voting Process: Each member is entitled to cast 7 votes. Members with the highest number of votes will be elected to the Nomination Committee. The member with the highest votes will serve as the Nomination Committee Chairperson. 3. Nomination Committee Composition: The Nomination Committee will comprise 7 members with the highest votes. The member with the highest votes will automatically assume the role of the Nomination Committee Chairperson. 4. Role of the Nomination Committee: The Nomination Committee is responsible for nominating the next President for the Rotary year 2025-2026. The nomination process will involve consultation among committee members. 5. Challenge and Confirmation: Once the Nomination Committee has nominated a President, a 7-day cooling-off period will be provided. During this period, any member may challenge the nomination. In case of a challenge, an anonymous election will be conducted among club members to confirm the nomination. 6. Election Procedure for Challenge: Members will vote anonymously. The candidate with the majority of votes will be confirmed as the next President. The decision is final and binding. 7. Prohibition of Canvassing: No canvassing or formation of panels is allowed at any stage of the election process. All members are expected to uphold the principles of fairness and impartiality. 8. Rotary 4-Way Test: All election proceedings will adhere to the Rotary 4-Way Test, ensuring that decisions are based on the principles of truth, fairness, goodwill, and benefit to all concerned. 9. Assistance to President Elect 24-25: If needed, the President Elect for the year 2024-2025 can seek the assistance of the Nomination Committee for the appointment of the Board of Directors for the Rotary year 2024-2025. 10. Implementation and Enforcement: The rules and procedures outlined herein are to be implemented and enforced by the current leadership of the Rotary Club of Pune Camp 11. Amendments: Any amendments to these rules must be proposed, discussed, and approved by the club members through a democratic process. By adhering to these rules and procedures, the Rotary Club of Pune Camp aims to ensure a fair and transparent Nomination Committee Election process with a clearly defined leadership structure |
