| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting of 16th January was indeed one of a kind meeting. It was special because our guest was the Foundation Director. But the meeting was not at all about Foundation or even about Rotary. Our speaker for the day was Rtn. Charu Shrotri and the topic was his travel by road from Pune to Germany and his passion of travelling and driving. At the beginning of the meeting Kalpana Deshpande and Dr. Dinesh Nehete were inducted at the hands of Rtn. Charu Shrotri. Mr. Gurunath Alurkar, father of Rtn. Madhur was felicitated for his generous donation to our club Trust. Rtn. Charu Shrotri then amazed all the members with his interesting and mind blowing travel stories. With the help of power point presentation he elaborated his travel of 21644 kms in 67 days through 14 countries backed by the interesting narration of local people he came across and various cultures he witnessed. The imigration stories were really special. The difficulties he faced during his travel were a little scary but it was mesmerising to hear how calmly he could solve every problem. Rtn. Nitin Mulay introduced the guest and Rtn. Madhur Dolare presented the vote of thanks. |
