Then all members proceeded further to Mini Theatre at First Floor for Club Meeting. Meeting presided by President Mr. Manoj Solanki. Meeting began with National Anthem. PE then read Four Way Test of Rotary which is followed by all members present. Agenda was posted to WA group of Rotarians by the President covering 7-8 subjects including District Car Rally to Trust Deed draft, Projects of the Club including Mai Bal Bhavan etc. President Manoj was out of India from 04.12.2023 till 15.01.2024 ( expected arrival ) and he arrived on 15.01.2024 in India. President invited Secretary cum Treasurer on the Dias along with Rotary Ann Mrs. Shakambhari to share experience of District Car Rally. Both shared in short experiences in Car Rally of 2200 Kms. from Pune to Pune. Secretary handed over Three Flags of the Clubs which is given by three clubs visited during Car Rally. President who was out of India also shared his experience of his Club visit in USA . Club had dinner meeting and he shared some of the important features of the Club meeting there in practice. About Trust formation of our Club which is priority issue before our Club Members, Secretary CA Dinesh Dixit met Rotarian CA Mr. Rajapurkar of Nigdi Club in his office and Drafted Trust Deed with necessary modifications wherever necessary. Estimate of expenses for the formation of the Trust works out to Rs. 30,000- 40,000 at the Charity Commissioner Office, Pune. Mr. Sushil requested to contact Disitrict 3131 Team for Trust Cell and ask for estimate of expenses and further help to reduce expenses estimated. President will get in touch with the Trust Cell of Disitrict 3131 to help and register our Trust as early as possible. Draft Trust Deed of the Club will be shared Via E mail amongst all members. President put before some projects of the Club which is running like Mai Bal Bhavan monthly expenses of running the school. President has some connections with the Business Leaders who will take up this issue on CSR basis and he will update shortly on this issue. At present, some Rotarians from our Club are voluntarily contributing towards part of the expenses of Mai Bal Bhavan. President also put project of Used Clothes Collection Drive and he requested Project Director Mr Snehal to tap proper channel for collection drive along with the help of Mrs. Sanyogita , to use data available with the Club of E Waste Drive. President also wish to undertake visit to Audi ( CAR ) Repairing Centre Pune for those in the age group of 12-15 years with the help and guidance of the Spouse of Mrs Sanyogita to make them aware alternative source of earnings who do not opt for College education after their 10 th exam and opting for courses available on I T I platform. Beneficiaries in the above age group residing in Lodha Belmondo complex and also for Outside the Complex will be tapped with help of available resources. Sheetal sharma one of our Rotarians will co ordinate with Mr Kothari and Mrs. Sanyogita in this project. President shared that invoice of R I Dues for the second half of 2023-24 of Rs. 45909.38 will be paid by RTGS on or before 29.01.2024. At the time of writing minutes, President visited Federal Bank Pimpri Branch and presented cheque of Rs. 45,909.38 for RTGs and confirmation from the Bank and Rotary International South Asia Office New Delhi has been received that R I dues has been paid before Due Date of 31.01.2024. President extended thanks to Mrs. Sanyogita for attending R Y E seminar of the District 3131 arranged by the RC of Deccan Gymkhana Pune on 07.01.2024 Sunday on behalf of our Club. She requested to provide contact numbers of District 3131 officials for International Services and contact details of Co- Director Shobha Nahar , RC of Sahawas was shared with her. She has some plans for the youth on Rotary International platform. President has plan to arrange one District Trainer for training our club members and accordingly schedule will be notified to the members. Today one invitee of Mr. Snehal Kothari attended this Club meeting and he desired to admit him as a Rotarian. Mr. Snehal Kothari introduced him and on his recommendation Mr. Sagar Bomble is admitted as a member of our Club. Admission form along with membership fee will be shortly paid by him. PE Vivek will collect the requisite form and fees. Mr. Sagar Bomble is admitted with greetings and best wishes in our Club and Club expects from him towards Club activities his involvement and his social connection in future. President told the members present that all members had paid their half yearly dues of Rs. 10,000 who opted for payment in two instalments EXCEPT TWO members for the reasons best known to them. President and PE Vivek will meet personally TWO members to sort out this issue. Club had reimbursed all expenses approved by the Board and incurred earlier by the President and or Member(s) and also paid E filing fees of CA Sancheti for extending his service of e filing of income tax return of our Club for the A Y 2023-24. A statement of Receipts and Payments of our Club till 31.01.2024 will be shared with the members shortly. Meeting is adjourned with Vote of Thanks to the members present today. |

| Minutes of Meeting | 1. Audit report FY 2022-23 presentation : By Rtn. Shailendra Waray • Report had been circulated to all members about a week before the meeting. Salient points were briefed to all and all clarifications were answered satisfactorily. Refund from CIDCO for Anand Mela 2019 is awaited. Approval of Audit Report was sought. o Proposed by – Anup Gupta. o Seconded by – Shailesh Patel. Approved unanimously. 2. Fund Raiser Procedures for Fund Raiser being planned in Apr 2024 – Being discussed in Club meeting in details. Requirement of transparency, accountability, proper documentation and timely closure and declaration of accounts for all activities of Fund Raiser was stressed and was agreed by Fund Raiser Chairman Shailesh Patel. Cheque payments and receipts are preferred mode of transactions. As good ethical practices, Club should pay GST or other Government charges. Trust will issue a letter of appointment of Fund Raiser Chairman. o For information. 3. 12A and 80G update – Service Contract is awarded to CA Suhas Marathe, Panvel. Missing information regarding Service Projects completed are being compiled. Efforts are being made to compile in a week. o For information 4. Manu Smruti Update – Rtn Dr. Kiran Kalyankar providing health check up services regularly and report being shared with Directors of Manu Smruti. A meeting being planned with Directors of Manu Smruti in Feb, 2024. Club to prepare a long term plan like Dialysis centre or any other to be discussed in meeting with Manu Smruti Directors. Our clubs exclusivity for projects/programs with MS also is a point of discussion. Club should inform meeting plans in advance to Dr Sapna Modi (club contact for MS) for approval by MS, as done for meeting today. 5. Additional point discussed – Ending of tenure of Trustees – Tenure of Trustees has ended and we need to start election process immediately. Members should be immediately inform to confirm their willingness to be Election Officer. | Minutes of Meeting | The Language of Love It was a happy homecoming of sorts for our Guest Speaker, Dr. Mumtaz Peerbhoy, a former member of RCPC, who delighted the audience with an eclectic collection of romantic Urdu shayari and ghazals, many of them her own compositions. In addition to writing poetry, Dr. Mumtaz is also a social activist and anchor, who has participated in national and international educational, social, and cultural seminars. She began her talk by sharing a brief history of Urdu and the origins of shayari and ghazals. Quoting renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar, she pointed out that “language belongs to a region not a religion”. Despite being a bit under the weather with a cold and cough, she still regaled the audience with a soulful ghazal. The most memorable takeaway from the evening was when Dr. Mumtaz quoted the late great Khushwant Singh, who was once approached by a young man who wanted to learn Urdu. His reply: “If you want to learn Urdu, then fall in love. If you want to love, then learn Urdu.” Earlier in the week, President Ajay Chitnis was the Chief Guest at the Republic Day celebrations on the Anjuman I-Islam Campus, at which the English and Urdu schools participated. Also on January 26, eight Rotarians and eight Rotaractors visited the 14-Trees Foundation Project site and planted several saplings. They also visited Miyawaki forest at the Bosch Brembo Biodiversity Park. President Ajay announced that an upcoming Eye Check-Up Camp will take place at Anjuman I-Islam School, from January 30 to February 2, 2024. Approximately 3,000 students are expected to participate. Rtn. PE Brigadier PKM Raja announced that at a meeting on January 23, 2024, Rtn. Yogesh Shah had been elected vice-president for Rotary year 2024–25. He added that Rtn. PP Raja Kharadkar would be the Club Trainer. We offered birthday greetings to Rtn. Dr. Bhagwanti Nanwani, R’Ann Anjali Kharadkar, Rtn. Pradeep Dharane, and R’Ann Smita Pingale.
