Minutes of Meeting	Our President, NPS Bakshi started the meeting & welcomed the speaker of the evening Mrs. Mahrukh N. Bharucha of the ‘Expressions Unlimited Academy’, Pune. Before Mrs. Bharucha could commence her talk, there was a hushed silence as our dear Rtn PDG Sam Irani & Rtn Ann Katy made an entry along with their family members, (after an absence of 2 years). The President welcomed them & many members rushed to meet PDG Sam. Mrs. Mahrukh Bharucha began her talk, forewarning the audience that it was going to be slightly bawdy & scatological. As earlier announced the talk was titled “Parsi-isms-we Bawas say the strangest things.” The Speaker traced the history of the Parsees in India, their affinity for the British Royal family & the adoption of Gujrati as their lingua franca in India. However, the Gujrati spoken by the Parsees was very distinguishable from that spoken by the Gujratis. At 8 pm, the members were invited for cocktails & a “Jamva Chaloji” sit down dinner. Kudos must be given to the caterers of the Poona Club for serving authentic Parsee dishes. 126 members & friends enjoyed a sumptuous finger licking Parsee dinner, with a lot of laughter & bonhomie.

Minutes of Meeting	आपल्या क्लब ची १ एप्रिल ची मीटिंग मुव्ही मीटिंग होती. एक एप्रिल असून ही ज्यांनी नावे दिली त्यांनी गैरहजेरी लावून एप्रिल फूल केले नाही हे महत्त्वाचे. त्यावेळी नुकताच प्रदर्शित झालेला अलीबाबा आणि चाळिशीतले चोर हा विनोदी मूव्ही बघण्यासाठी आपल्या क्लब चे साधारण २० सभासद स्पाउससह आले होते. पतीपत्नीमधले नाते मुरल्यानंतर त्यात होणारे विनोद, कधी संशय, कधी आपुलकी या सर्व बाजूनी या मुव्हीमध्ये प्रकाश टाकला आहे. सर्व उपस्थित सदस्यांनी मजा घेतली आणि आपसातले बाँडिंग पक्के होण्यासाठी अश्या बाहेर होणाऱ्या मीटिंग ची उपयुक्तता दिसून आली. - रोटे. जन्मेजय खुर्जेकर

Minutes of Meeting	5) This was another meeting arranged outside our regular club venue. It was arranged at Jyotsna Bhole Hall. Chintaman Ganesh tambat was a brilliant / Intelligent artist during Peshawa Regime around 250 years ago ( 1790). His life journey and dedication to the art of painting was presented in a novel way by shri Nitin Hadap and Shri Makarand Sapre. Well described as a Docu-Drama was presented in the form of Documentary, Story telling and singing. The paintings made by him also were shown during the presentation. The then rulers , Brish people were very much impressed by his art and fondly described him as an INGINIOUS NATIVE.
