Minutes of Meeting	The meeting was called to order by President Girish at 7.30 followed by the National Anthem. This Thursday an internal and interesting program was organized namely “Kalavishkar”. Kalavishkar was arranged to encourage and provide a platform for various arts and crafts activities for our club members and anns. There were 3 categories – One was a display of arts and crafts prepared by our members or anns. In 2nd category, members presented solo performances of acting, playing musical instruments, etc. The third category was the mango recipe competition. Many members and anns participated in various categories. The evening was memorable and enjoyable. First Lady Radhika conducted this program. This was followed by Secretarial announcements. Secretary PP Rtn Sanjeev announced the program for the next week (as mentioned in the agenda). He also announced the birthdays and anniversaries of the members and anns (names mentioned in the agenda) and President Girish felicitated them. The meeting was adjourned.

Minutes of Meeting	Leading from the Back to achieve the Impossible Mr. Ravi Kant, former Vice Chairman, and CEO of Tata Motors delivered Speech on Leading from the Back to Achieve the Impossible, on 2nd May'24 during the regular Thursday meeting at Poona Club. The Signature event was also attended by some members of the Deccan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Pune. Mr. Ravi Kant talked from his learning of over 5 decades in Corporate Sector, major period being at Leadership positions. The concept of leading from back is clear departure from the famous “Leading from the Front” wherein the subordinates follow a leader and leader is at fore front. In such cases, a leader gets undue importance, and potential of subordinates remains hidden. It may end up in an egoistic leadership not in tune with creating new leaders. He further says the job of a leader is to create leaders and not followers. The essence from his speech for a leader leading from Back can be summarized in the following points. 1. Have an open Mind. 2. Assume Leadership 3. Be detached -focus should not be on you but on your team. 4. Build Trust 5. Collaborate 6. Leverage Strengths 7. Test the limits. 8. Look outside in 9. Be tough softly. There was very good attendance for this event. Rtn. Hari Srivastava introduced the speaker while I gave the Vote of Thanks
