Minutes of Meeting	The meeting was called to order by President Girish at 7.15 followed by the National Anthem. President Girish then welcomed Mrs. Smita Soman, Mrs. Rasika Gumaste, and the dancers and anchors of team Kalasakta. First Lady Radhika introduced the guests and briefed them about the trust and group of Kalasakta. The trust Kalasakta was formed for the preservation and promotion of Indian classical dance forms. A distinct feature of Kalasaktatroup is the blend of traditional dance pieces and drama. Today, they performed a program called “Yashoyutam Vande” depicting the story of India’s freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. It was an excellent performance and the mudras and expressions of the performers effectively communicated the emotions which Veer Savarkar expressed through his poetry. The anchoring was excellent and weaved the performances with the life story of Veer Savarkar Ann Shilpa Gore delivered the vote of thanks. This was followed by the Rotary business. President Girish congratulated Rtn Pankaj and Vinita Mulye as their daughter Anushka scored 90% in the 10th board examination. This was followed by Secretarial announcements. Secretary PP Rtn Sanjeev announced the programs for the next two weeks (as mentioned in the agenda). He also announced the birthdays and anniversaries of the members and anns (names mentioned in the agenda) and President Girish felicitated them. The meeting was adjourned.
