| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting was called to order by President Girish at 7.30 followed by the National Anthem. President Girish then welcomed all the members. Rtn Charudatta explained the agenda and various committees formed for the upcoming district event “Partnership” Rtn Charudatta conducted a game to explain the importance of communication. Then he gave a presentation on communication skills and the importance of teamwork. President Girish gave thanks to PP Rtn Charudatta for conducting this internal program for the club members. This was followed by the Rotary business. Secretarial announcements- Standing Secretary PP Rtn Charudatta announced the programs for the next two weeks (as mentioned in the agenda). He also announced the birthdays and anniversaries of the members and anns (names mentioned in the agenda) and President Girish felicitated them. The meeting was adjourned. |

| Minutes of Meeting | Simply dance.....* The fine art of rhythmatic movements that work on your emotions is actually therapeutic. This is what Ms Sindes Jabore demonstrated this evening at our club meeting. Irrespective of age, shape, or size, there is a dancer in each one of us. This dancer, when activated with rhythmatic music, does wonders. Especially when done in a group, oblivious of the fact that nobody is looking at each other, it is so rejuvenating. We often see toddlers dancing away with gay abandon, a state of pure bliss. We adults, most of us, past our prime, enjoyed this state today. Sindes chose peppy songs with easy lyrics for us to express our emotions with simple movements, some standing, some sitting on the chair, in perfect rhythm & harmony. Each and every part of the body moved in perfect harmony. The title "Emotional Movements Therapy" is so appropriate. |
