However after achieving external peace, human remains disturbed due to so many factors and then internal peace can be achieved by Yoga practice. Capt. Ulhas Bodhankar shared his experience during Kargil war and gave an insight on war affairs. He also expressed that, the correct way of establishing peace is not war but discussions across the table. Dr. Smita Kulkarni shared her experience during Corona, when she was working as Dy. Commissioner. She aslo gave information and took mini workshop on Omkar Sadhana. This was very cool experience. |

Fellowship was given followed by the meeting. Meeting was conducted as per Agenda and the minutes of meeting are as under :- 1. President Rtn Dipak Sonawane welcomed all the Rotarians, Anns, Annets. 2. The invited Guest Prof Dr More madam – renowned historian was the Chief Guest on the day. Prod Dr More madam, gave speech on the celebration of Gurupurnima day. Its importance, its historical importance and way to express gratitude to the GURU in your life. 3. President informed about the Chatra Chaya project and distribution of Chatrachaya Umbrella to around 10 beneficiaries. 4. President informed about activity of Health check up camp for warkaris taken on occasion of Ashadi Ekadashi on 17th Jul24 at Vitthal Mandir Daund. Total 550+ benefcciaries were imacpted. 5. Maternal Health and Child care. It was appealed to fellow members to donate new unused sarees so that it can be given to the mother’s alongwith Baby care kit. Total 16 sarees collected. It was urged that these sarees to be collected in next 2-3 days so that the project can be done on 22 jul 24. 6. Secretarial announcements were done by Sec, Rtn Deepak Shasam. a. Anniversary of Rtn Mrs and Mr Abhishek Gaiwad. b. Birthday celebration of Ann Shrawan Date, Ann Dudhat, Ann,. c. District Awards meet on 28th jul – Members were requested to register for the function at the earliest and give the confirmation at the earliest for better arrangements. d. All the members were urged to make the membership payment ONLINE mode to the bank account. QR code was displayed at the venue and also QR code copy to be sent. All members were told to make the transfer from Nationalised bank and through savings account. Members were asked to deposit Rs.15500/- and for couples Rs.26000/-. 7. On occasion of world EMOJI day, Rotaract Ckub of Daund conducted various fun games to al the present members by displaying the EMOJI and to identify the song or movie. President Rtr Purnima informed about the importance of the EMOJI in digital world. Rotract Club IPP Rtr Prajwal, Rtr Hemlata, Rtr Prem, Rtr Hemangi and other rotractors were present. 8. For Nasarapur Primary School, Plan sanctioning is in progress. v) Ideas for the forthcoming GG projects: Yet to be initiated. vi) Dileep suggested changing the Rotary logo in use by our club as per RI guidelines. Since Rtn Vibhas was absent, Sec Devdatta explained the status of non-medical projects b) The ChhatraChhaya Project as per district guidelines was completed. c) plans – proposed RCC with Bharati Hospital doctors and paramedical staff: This will be taken up with Dr Vaidya. Our club members requested updates on new changes in the RCC rules from district members. d) Urban forest – Visit two NGO projects and discuss with them – (Alka Kulkarni and Devdatta): To be rescheduled due to heavy rains in the city. e) Water Reservoir at Purandar: Pending. f) E-Lerning kit installation at ZP School Katkarwadi, Tal Kalyan, DistThane: Devdatta explained that the kit is delivered and we need to plan a visit to inaugurate the same in August. There is requirement of additional kits at DyankalaSanvardhani (Charu Bhave) and Bal Shikshan Mandir (Parag). g) New Project Proposal by RtnSatyajit: Making pallets from the dry leaves of trees that can be used as fuel in the stove. This service is available from Suvarnataai Gokhale. Satyajit proposed to make a pilot project in his Society and then expand in other areas. h) NaisargikShikshanSanstha: to make a water reservoir. Budget ~48L. 3) Projects Medical: a) Discussion on Blood donation camp with AFMC: to be confirmed to Mr Parnal for 26th July. Gifts to donor Police shall be planned through some sponsorship. b) Cataract surgery camp in association with Dr Nirmala Sarpotdar is scheduled on 10th August c) Scheduling for the weekly visit of the medical check upVan : 6 villages are listed by Bharati Hospital and 5 more are in discussions before finalizing the final route and schedule. Rtn Sanjeev will be finalizing with Dr Vaidya at the earliest. d) Discussions on CSR appeals from SVP Cantonment Hospital : One meeting was done by Sajeev Karanjkar with hospital. They want to upgrade their age old setup and machineries to advanced ones. Budget is ~35L. Rtn Anant is updated with requirement and asked to discuss with Kotak. e) Tarachand hospital :This project is closed and shelved. f) Status of PHC at Kasurdi, Opening ceremony : Windows, Doors, Plastering and Wiring are still incomplete due to short of funds. It was decided to get it done through some local sponsorer. g) Kotak Funding : It was decided to route the funds via foundation to increase our giving. h) District drive of Anemia : It was decided to make our medical Van available for various clubs operational in Velhe area for this drive. Clubs listed : NIBM, Bhor, Katraj, Gandhi Bhavan. We should give this proposal to the clubs. i) Shav Vaahini for Velhe : The Velhe village local social workers and Sarpanch has requested for Shav Vaahini to serve dead people transport from remote areas. 4) Membership:RtnSanjeev Kulkarni was absent. Sec Devdatta explained in his absence. a) New member approached us Mr Dinesh Subhedar (Ex Rotarian RCP Wisdom). We should evaluate him and also verify with his past club. We should also get clearance from his past club. 5) Foundation:Rtn Satyajeet a) Pres. He proposed to form a team to review the ongoing projects and activities in view of CPI marks and guide so as to improve our club’s ranking in the district. The team will include Rtn Manjiri Badawe, Ann Radhika and PP Rtn Aparna. 14) Other subjects: a) Bylaws Update: We had taken up this activity in past year. Earlier committee has prepared some draft but has not reached the finalization. It was proposed to restructure the committee to include current President and past two IPPs so as to speed-up the process. President Bharati Dole welcomed all the attendees. President thanked all for the cooperation extended for installation. She also briefed about donation of frames for glasses for warkaris, Doctors and CA day greetings and felicitation of Dr Adkar on Doctors’ Day. 2. Minutes of Joint BOD were proposed for approval by Secretary Sachin Joglekar & approved by BOD. 3. Club trainer Rtn Ujwal Marathe shared feedback from members to start the weekly meeting at 7.30 pm instead of 7.15 pm. 4. Director Club Admin: Rtn Rujuta Desai ➢ Attendance has been in the range of 40 to 45. ➢ Fellowship is being appreciated by all members ➢ Programs for next month have been finalised ➢ Ekankika: Rtn Achut Gokhale informed that Ekankika competition will be held from 14th to 20th October. So far 16 clubs have confirmed participation & more follow ups are being done by members. Mr. Dheeraj Joshi has agreed to be judge for the competition. Other judges are being finalised. ➢ Club Ekankika: Preparation is going on ➢ Donation by Ann Meena Inamdar for Apte Muk badhir school was appreciated ➢ Birthday /Anniversary celebration for July – August will be held at Rtn Vijay Gokhale’s place on 18th August. ➢ Membership: Rtn Sandeep Tapaswi is designing a Google form which will be circulated soon. 5. Director Community Service Medical: Rtn Shobha Rao ➢ RCC to be held for 16 Asha workers ➢ Cherry Blossom Project: Madhyamik School 300 & Muktangan school 700. ➢ Board approved budget of Rs. 7000 for pamphlet printing. ➢ Board approved budget of Rs.15000 for providing BP monitor & oximeter to Asha workers 6. Director Community Service Non-Medical: Rtn Vrinda Walimbe ➢ Need to explore more initiatives/projects than food supply for Sarthak Seva Sangh ➢ Budget of Rs. 10850.00 was approved by board for pipeline at Aai che Ban. ➢ Drip irrigation project to be explored at same place by Spouse Ashok Kamble. ➢ Chatrachhaya district project is getting implemented. Board decided not to put RCPS name sticker on the umbrella. Rs. 9999.00 budget approved by BOD for this project. ➢ Mental health awareness project is being planned for Madhyamik Vidyalay. ➢ Cancer prevention trees project to be explored 7. Director Youth Service: Rtn Alka Kamble ➢ Kargil Vijay Diwas preparation is complete. Budget of Rs. 5500.00 for mementos & miscellaneous expenses approved by the board. 8. Director Public Image: Rtn Sharad Dole ➢ Installation newspaper coverage was appreciated. 9. Sgt At Arms: Rtn Anand Nawathe ➢ It was decided to take inventory/stock in VSS hall cupboards after hall renovation is complete. ➢ New sound system to be explored with VSS on expense sharing basis. Rtn Anand & Rtn Sharad volunteered for the same. 10. Literacy Chairperson: Rtn Anjali Ravetkar ➢ 110 Apps for 10th standard students were given. (Yavat 50, Madhyamik School 10, Muktainagar school 50). Board approved budget of Rs. 7150.00 (Rs. 65 per app) for the same. 11. Other points discussed/approved ➢ Calendar for board meetings to be prepared by Rtn Sachin Joglekar giving priority to Thursday as day for the meeting. ➢ Hosted BOD was discussed. It was decided to have 3 hosted BODs this year (other than Joint BOD). Other BODs will be combination of online & face to face meetings. ➢ President Bharati requested all directors to report Planned budget Vs Actual spend before taking approvals for the project. | Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of 1st BOD Meeting - 19th July 2024 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by President Rtn. Masi Shah at 9:00 PM. Administration: ● Admin Director Rtn. Shekhar Kamble was unavailable for the meeting. Membership: ● The club aims to induct 10 new members this year, with 4 already inducted. ● All members, including new inductees, have paid their membership fees for the 2024-25 year. Foundation: ● We are pleased to note that our club has maintained a 100% EREY status for 4 years, continuing the tradition of RCB. ● IPP Rtn. Nikhil and Foundation Director Rtn. Bhavin Desai will discuss and confirm the use of non-Rotary funds for the foundation by next week. Treasury: ● The club has applied for 80G certification and expects to receive compliance within the next 10 days. Service Projects: ● The club hosted the Synergy project Chatrachaya, which became the largest synergy project in the district. 104 clubs collaborated to distribute umbrellas to beneficiaries. Our club members will distribute 50 umbrellas with the support of our sponsor, Quickheal. ● By the end of July, we will complete our project providing stationery and study materials to underprivileged school children. ● We plan to start the Happy Village program by the end of August and aim to induct 1 RCC. ● In August, we will begin identifying beneficiaries for an anemia checkup and initiate discussions with colleges for Project Asmita. ● All service projects are carried out under the guidance of Service Project Director Rtn. Narendra Sancheti. Youth: ● Youth Director Rtn. Mahendra Bodhe proposed involving Rotaract club members in projects like Asmita to familiarize them with larger synergy projects. ● Rtn Mahendra Bodhe is going to update us on the formation of a new Institutional base Rotaract club in the next BOD meeting. Public Image: ● Public Image Director Rtn. Sameer Kaushik is working on this aspect and will provide updates in the next BOD meeting. Roles & Responsibilities: ● It was decided that each BOD member is responsible for their respective avenues. If unable to attend a monthly BOD meeting, they should share updates with other members for discussion and follow-up. ● Charter Member Rtn. Jigneshbhai suggested inviting one club member to each BOD meeting to help them understand the club's operations and service projects.
