| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of Meeting RCPM BOD on 5th Sept 2024 9 p.m. online Attendees: Amita, Amit, Madhavi C, Prerana, Mukund, Deepak, Madhavi M, Shilpa and Rajas 1.Pres Amita welcomed the BOD and had the following announcements 1. Recognition for membership avenue where women Rotarians have increased 2. Congratulations to following projects a. Arogyabhan b. Rashim project- benches are in place c. Women’s Entrepreneurship completing Silver Jubilee. DG Shital Shah attended the certificate giving function. Many felicitations to Ann Ashwinitai Joshi for her work 3. 3 PRF donations – Amita Nene, Madhavi C and PP Seema Deshpande 4. Savitrichya Leki – wonderful evening with RYE inbounds Congratulations to PP Bodhani and Admin Vaidehi. 5. Good media coverage for Interact Blind School. Congratulations Youth team. 6. Felicitations to Anna Uday for 3rd bulletin. 7. IPP Surekha has agreed to stay till December. PP Mohan Chhatre had the following comments a. Congratulated Ann Ashwinitai for 25 years of Women’s entrepreneur project. But asked that some also be trained to take project responsibilities. b. PE Madhavi C said that the project is also replicated in Renuka Swaroop and she is working on training people with responsibilities. c. Committee to be formed for Rashim project. PP Madhavi M seconded it. 2. Minutes of BOD meeting on 3rd August approval was proposed by PP Deepak and seconded by Rtn. Amit. 3. Secretary Rajas said that the fees for change report were increased by the lawyer and approved by the trustees. Rtn. Prerana said that the charges for the delayed approval would be communicated. Rotary New Subscription done. 4. Treasurer Rtn Amit had following updates a. Rotary News payment for new members to be done. b. Challenge getting the phone nos and emails changed in the bank. c. Dues of Rtn Devchakke remaining d. Interact Rotaract pins cost 12000/- gone beyond budget. e. PP Mukund suggested to apply for FCRA. Rtn. Amit noted and will initiate action. f. Admin Rtn. Vaidehi applauded for conducting meetings within budget. g. PP Mohan suggested Pres Amita talk to Rtn Devchakke who is not based in Pune. 5. There were no queries for Club Admin Rtn. Vaidehi who had sent her report ahead and was absent. Suggestion from PP Deepak was to follow up with absent members, seconded by PP Madhavi M. 6.Service Project Director PP Anjali could not attend the BOD and had sent her report. Following updates and discussions were done regarding the projects. a. Green School assessment form has been shared with project director – Rtn. Rajas b. PP Mohan suggested as for Arogybhan many members could not attend, we could start something like Rotary Mitra and appreciate non members who do the rotary work. Madhavi M suggested on forming a committee for projects for inviting members and any work. 7. CSR updates by PP Mukund regarding registering on websites. There were no questions. 8. PP Padma had sent foundation report there were no points of discussion. 9. Membership director Rtn. Shilpa had sent her report, no points were added to her report for discussion. 10. Youth Director Rtn. PP Madhavi M gave following updates to her report a. Rtn.Sunil has given 20, 21 September as the alternative dates for RYLA. To get max members of our interact clubs Rathi and Agashe. PP Mukund will be convener . b. Blind school has asked for number of resources. They would also like Science projects, Metro ride and Mall visit to be conducted. c. Rotaract has dispersed and there is no installation yet. Rtn. Bhalchandra is looking into same. d. Manovedh project is happening with Rtn. Prerana following up with Baya Karve who have given their requirements. They will come back after Ganapati for 4 sessions. Altaf to follow up with Blind School. 11. PI director PP Deepak had following points for discussion. a. For assimilation 8 members group has been formed. They will talk about each other in the next meeting. b. Press conference for Rashim project planned in 1st and 2nd half . Prerana asked the press conference to be done after plan is executed. c. PP Madhavi M suggested that a 25 years of Womens Entrepreneur project to be celebrated. PP Mohan suggested successful candidates’ family podcasts should be circulated within the group. d. There was a discussion on the point a. above and it was decided that BOD agrees to give time for internal PI. Admin and PI should work out on how to implement the plan. 12. IT officer Rtn. Prerana updated that all the access was received from RTn.Vandana and hard drive clean-up is completed. 13. There was no discussion on the bulletin updates send by Anna Uday. 13. There were suggestions from PP Mohan regarding the process. Budget for the month to be presented to the Trust and trust should approve it. Pres Amita replied that the budget is presented to the BOD before the beginning of the year and only those that are going over the budget are presented to the BOD. 14. | Minutes of Meeting | Ganesh Aarti and prasad at Dashabhuja Temple - 5th Sept Flexi meeting of RCP Metro It was a serene and gratifying experience this morning when RCPM family members gathered at 6.45am to be part of the Morning Aarti at Dashabhuja Ganpati Mandir. It was a divine experience with Pooja Prasad offerings and seeking blessings from Ganpati Bappa.. I actually visited the temple after many many years and I am sure many of us would have too. We all must applaud Club Admin dir Vaidehi, Programs chair Madhavi K and the convener of this flexi meeting PP Mohan for giving us this unique experience and planning this flexi meeting. Aarti was followed by sumptuous breakfast of Pohe and coffee at Kimaya restaurant. It felt so good to have 30 members present and it was a pleasure meeting you all as always. 3 cheers to RCPM family!! |

| Minutes of Meeting | Regular protocol. During our regular weekly meeting on September 5th, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Jaykant Sarode and his talented daughters, Shrutika and Vaidehi. Both girls are passionate roller skaters, a sport that, while not widely recognized, has seen them achieve remarkable feats. Shrutika has already represented India on the world stage at championships in Taipei and Arnhem, and boasts an impressive collection of medals from competitions across India. Excitingly, both Shrutika and Vaidehi have been selected to represent India in the upcoming World Skate Games in Italy. Shrutika will even captain the Women’s Roller Derby Senior Team. In preparation for this event, they've been seeking financial support to cover their expenses. Touched by their dedication, RCKP members swiftly agreed to contribute 10% of the required funds (Rs. 50,000). Meanwhile, Mr. Kunal Tembwalkar and Rtn. George Harry are actively exploring avenues to secure the remaining 90%. Harry has even reached out to his College of President (COP) network for additional support. We wish Shrutika and Vaidehi all the best as they embark on their journey to Italy on September 15th, and we're proud to play a part in their pursuit of excellence. |
