| Minutes of Meeting | This week's meeting was one filled with reflection, warmth, and a true sense of Rotary spirit. The meeting began at 7:00 PM sharp, with President Brig. PKM Raja calling the house to order. As always, we stood united as the National Anthem played, a perfect start to our evening. With heavy hearts, we paid tribute to our dear Late Rtn. Bal Agarwal, who sadly passed away on September 11th. The club members observed a solemn one-minute silence in his memory, marking a poignant moment of respect. Many members shared their memories they had with Late Rtn. Bal Agarwal The condolence meeting was followed by an interactive session led by President Raja. This open dialogue allowed members to discuss various matters pertaining to the club, offering feedback and ideas in a collaborative space. In Secretary's Announcements it was learned that the attendance for our last meeting on August 31st was a respectable 40% non-exempt and 55% total. The 'End Polio' collection for that day totalled INR 2000, reminding us all of our ongoing mission to eradicate polio globally. As we neared the close, President Raja expressed his gratitude with a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the contributions and participation of everyone. With that, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM. The next meeting will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 6:30 PM on Zoom, where our esteemed member, Rtn. Aseem Srivastav will be giving a talk on the topic, “From Stressful to Joyful Living” promising another engaging interaction. We look forward to seeing everyone at next week’s Zoom meeting! |
