1) Prez Parag called the meeting to order.
2) Minutes of last meeting were accepted by all members present.
3) Club. Admin: PN Prasad Kumbhojkar
a) Programs for next two months, October and November, were reported by Director
Admin
b) Assimilation event Overnight trip is proposed on 11 th Dec 2024 or 18/19 Jan 2025
c) Special Programs of Kojagiri and Diwali were successfully celebrated with presence
of more than 70 members for each event.
4) Projects non-medical : Rtn Vibhas Joshi and PP Dileep Railkar (Global Grant)
a) Updates on the present status of the Global grant Project
i) Tentative dates for training at Nasarapur and Wada shivapur would be planned
post Diwali (12 th – 20 th Nov)
ii) Expenses of Rs 5.5L planned for Nasarapur Primary school toilet.
iii) In case there is any balance is left from the GG funds, it was decided to spend on
some additional requirements with consensus with foreign partners.
iv) Ideas for the forthcoming GG project to be brainstormed in group meeting.
b) RCC– Next steps and plan – To be considered after Green school project.
c) Urban forest – Visit to Anandvan Kondhwa to be planned for further steps
d) Ayurvedic plantation proposal by Bharati Hospital – To be removed
e) Water Reservoir at Purandar (Dr Jagtap) – To be removed
f) E-Learning kit
i) Handover of e-Learning kit at ZP School Katkarwadi, Tal Kalyan, Dist Thane was
completed.
ii) New Kits available for booking (expected delivery by Diwali) – None yet
g) Rickshaw hood PI project – Makarand Kulkarni –Next Plan to be prepared only after
State elections
h) Green School – Lead Girish –
i) We need budget of Rs 25K to 1L for activities. We need to find the sponsorer.
ii) Visit is planned to Abhinav School.
iii) 6 teacher, 1 vice principal and 3 RCP Tilak Road club members to form team at
each school.
iv) Initially our club team need to be trained by IGBC for activities and events to be
arranged at targeted schools
v) First brainstorming session will be arranged by Girish with schedule
i) Garden waste pallets – Lead Satyajit – Suvarna tai Gokhale –No updates yet
j) Naisargik Shikshan Sanstha – No updates yet.
k) Studying the status of earlier supplied e-Learning Kits and Updating them. –
Updates – No progress yet.
5) Projects Medical: PP Sanjeev Karanjkar
a) Blood donation camp with AFMC is planned on 19 th Oct 2014 and the promotions
have started to reach prospective donors.
b) Scheduling for the weekly visit of the medical checkup Van – The promised amount
for Aug-September to be paid.
c) Tarachand hospital requirements – This topic is closed.
d) Seva-bhavan Dialysis center – medial consumables supply – No update yet
e) PHC at Kasurdi, - Pending work estimation and Bharati Hospital Proposal – Sanjeev
Karanjkar to review balance items & present to next BOD to decide further action
plan. It was also concluded that the rest of the movable hospital equipment needed
for the patient checking shall be brought in by Bharati Hospital.
f) Making our Van available for Velhe area for anemia checkup camps by other clubs –
No Updates yet.
g) For Cantonment board hospital equipment, Sanjeev suggested to search for new
sponsorer.
6) Membership: Rtn Sanjeev Kulkarni
a) New member – two new prospective members will be invited in next meeting.
b) Membership drive plan – It was also discussed to focus on retaining existing
members by personally meeting such members.
7) Foundation: PP Satyajit Badawe
a) Collection till Date….
b) New Major Donor status
8) New Generation (Youth): Rtn Swati Patil
a) New Interact club at Modern Highschool: The school has asked for books in the
library. Some books are already donated by Swati. She has urged for others to add
some more.
b) Career Guidance: Skill development training by light house foundation is to be
planned for Sumati Balwan and Modern Interact clubs.
c) Sports RYLA
i) Tentative dates planned are 27-28 th December
ii) 4 to 5 committees to be formed to handle activities in the RYLA.
iii) To get sponsorships, presentation of the activities to be prepared.
9) Public Image: PP Kishor Puranik
a) Rickshaw hood – Further activities to be planned after state elections only
b) Social media coverage – TBD
c) News coverage in print media –Registration at Patrakar Bhavan is completed.
