| Minutes of Meeting | A talk on "What did Cricket teach me?" was held in Synergy with other clubs on 7th November 2024 at Yashwantrao Chavan auditorium. The hall was almost full with attendees. Everyone enjoyed his talk very much. It consisted of various audio, visual and verbal anecdotes from his personal experiences with famous cricketers. The talk did not talk only about cricket but it also explained how cricket as a a game goes in parallel with life experiences. The program was hosted by RCP Sahawas. Live video of Zaakir Hussain & Sachin Tendulkar, Master & Maestro together, in conversation with Sunandan Lele was very engaging and interesting. Their discussion over the conscious and subconscious mind was captivating and had a philosophical bent.. Zakir Hussain was as subtle and sharp in his talks as his fingers are on his Tabala. Rajsingh Dungarpur and Sachin Tendulkar's intimate talk in Sharjah in 1998 where Sachin replies, " I don't see the fielders, I see the gaps only " reflects Sachin's approach to Cricket/life. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's advice to Joginder Singh before he bowled the ball that won India fitsrt T20 World Cap was a lesson for any leader in any field. *The way Lele narrated it was another lesson in storytelling by Sunandan.* Finally, Lele's visit to Pakistan, meeting with ailing Mehandi Hassan and listening to Bhimsen Joshi's Rag Bhim Palasi for 45 minutes in his company were heart warming. |

| Minutes of Meeting | A warm welcome was extended to all present members. Our club's AG visit is scheduled on November 10, 2024, and the DG visit is scheduled on November 23, 2024. Discussions were held regarding the various documents required for these official visits. Some documents were prepared during the meeting. It was decided to create a booklet compiling all documents as per the instructions received via email from the district. Additionally, all matters concerning the club's progress, documents, etc., should be updated on the District 3131 and Rotary International websites. The AG visit is to be held at the regular club meeting venue, C-55, Prince Paradise, Panvel, and the DG visit is scheduled to be held at the Rotary Club of Panvel Industrial Town Trust's hall. To achieve 100% donor status for our club, all members are requested to submit a check of at least 30 USD (approximately Rs. 2500, with no upper limit) to the treasurer by November 10. The "Cherry Blossom" project, part of Playing 11 (Anemia Testing & Prevention), is set to be conducted on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe Tribal Ashram School in Shantivan. At the same time, it was also decided to organize the installation ceremony of the Interact Club established at this school. Following fellowship, the secretary made announcements, and the meeting proceedings were concluded. |
